I took off the deck and the slip yoke was hanging down so I tied it up out of the way. I accidently engadged the mid pto and the shaft spun free and started hitting everthing around it I lost all of my hydro fluid . Just need a rapair manual for bx2200 for less then 150 bucks. or someone to come fix it cheap.

The mid pto shaft is very heavy and spins at over 2,000 rpm. I sure this is not the case but it sounds like you have either damaged the tractor transmission case or the mid pto housing and the hole/crack the floundering pto shaft made has cased the trans. fluid to leak out. This does not sound like it will be cheap to repair but if you are lucky and the mid pto housing is what was damaged; you may be able to get off with replacement of the mid pto gearbox. Sounds like this is going to be a dealer repair as you are not likely to have all of the tools and parts that may be required. Sorry to hear about your mishap. ....

well I got lucky I took a closer look at everything lastnight luckly I just cracked the filter and bent the splin shaft. I wish the operation manual would have had a section that said that the splin shaft was a quick connect. I wouldn't have had this problem. any one happen to know if the local tractor supple would carry the filter that I would need. and can I use strait hydro fluid to fill it back up. ....

JDraines, recommend Kubota Super UDT fluid--if you don't already use it, you'll see the difference, particularly in cold weather. NAPA and other stores often carry the filter, but I'd stay with Kubota. Best of luck. ....

My dealer warned me about this when I took delivery. He said that he's had more than one BX owner engage the mid PTO without the shaft being fully locked. He mirrored Art's comment that if you are REALLY lucky, it might only take out the filter. More likely, you're looking at a whole new front end to the tranny case. Big $$$ repair.

I'd have your dealer check it for hidden damage before you do anything else with it. ....
