FYI
My 84" landscape rake does NOT windrow my rocks. I know this had been asked before but I will tell you that the larger rocks do not roll down the rake anf the smaller ones kida just run with the rake and not windrow. No big deal it still does a good job for specific jobs just for rock removal it is NOT the cats meow. Yea it will drag then for a distance but if you need to go an acre or so for get it. Atleast that is in MY soil conditions.

Yea, I've got a 48" landcape rake and it does just about the same as what yours does. I get better results when I fill in the ruts in my gravel driveway with my boxblade positioned ever so carefully as to not dig in. ....

Hmmmm. I've got an 84-incher myself, and it windrows sandrock just fine. Up to about 50 pounders anyway. When they get that big, I get off the tractor and move them by hand.

Could it be that you're simply permitting the rake to "float"? I find I get the best performance windrowing rocks when the rake is used in conjunction with the draft and position controls.

Hi greg. Iam careful not to put the rake in float mode. But on a 48", it may not matter. I can't read all of yor comments because I am not yet a premium member. I'll be upgrading soon though. Thanks. ....

Brokenarrow: Try adjusting the top link so that the attack angle of the rake's tines allows the material to ride up the tines and roll off---sort of how a dozer blade or snow plow works (or even a breaking ocean wave). Most likley, rather than the rake's structure sitting parallel to the gound, the front of the rake will need to be raised slightly to accomplish this. Of course, depending on the angle of the rake, this will cause the farthest point of the rake to dig in so you will have to adjust one lower link.

Also--if if have the right guy--you work for NH right? Well after 6 long months. I finally took delivery on my LS 185.b last week. And love it (hydraulic quick attach, enclosed cab with heat, steel over-the-tire tracks). ....

Must be another guy who works at a NH factory---my bad.

Anywho, I paid a little over $30,700. The tracks were bought separately on e-bay for $1200. The hydraulic quick attach saves soooo much time--and my back--from jumping in and out the cab to throw the levers. I got $19,000 for trade in on my '03 LS180. ....
