I've narrowed my tractor search to a New Holland TC33/Case DX33, but I'm having trouble deciding which finishing mower to purchase. I've looked at the Woods RD7200, Rhino FM72A, and the Bush Hog RMTH-72. I'll be mowing around 5 acres of lawn as well as 2 acres of orchard grass pasture (2-3 times a season for the pasture). Each dealer is pushing their particular brand...any suggesstions?
One dealer told me the blade tip speed on the Rhino puts it above the rest. Another said the heavy duty build of the Woods makes it better. Any help with those of you that have experience with any of these models would be greatly appreciated.
This is my first time using this web-site, so I'll welcome any help you guys can give.

Have you considered the New Holland MMM? I use the NH 60" MMM and have been very satisfied with it. It does a good job even in tall grass. I mow 5 acres and just recently mowed my neighbor's 2 acre field which had only been cut once this year.

I haven't removed the mower from the tractor but it appears to be fairly easy to do. The grease fittings are easily accessable.

Hope this helps, Dave ....

Those are three of the top brands going so you can't pick them apart by to much. Blade tip speed and suction are important when using a rear deck, you need good suction to stand the grass back up after dring over it twice. ....

What ever type you end up with see if a set of Gator blades will work on it. See if you can get the dealer to throw them in too. I have used Gator blades and they really do perform well in my opinion. ....

Glad to see you decide on the case dx 33. Awsome tractor. Get the mmm mower mine cuts anything including tall fields with ease. I spent months researching everything out there before I bought my tractor even had a kubota B3030 ordered and canceled it. Just could not get over how much I liked the NH/Case tractors and I could not be happier. Good luck to you ....
