Whenever I abbreviate "at" with the at symbol, it refuses and complains saying ads are not permitted. But I'm not posting an ad, link, or email! The first time it happened it took me 10 minutes of removing all symbols from my long post to realise it was that one little "at" symbol that did it.
And if I try to add links within the post the board won't allow it. I can add a single link using the "Link URL" field. If one link is ok to share publically in a post, why can't I post 2 or 3 (using the body of the message)?
I hate to be a complainer. But I found this a little confusing & frustrating. Is there a reson for this I don't comprehend? Or am I doing something wrong when I post?

This helps to keep spammers off the site, as well as unwanted advertisers.
I also do not want anyones email address displayed on the site, as this is one of the ways spammers get addresses. ....
