What type of "quick hitch" is best for a Kubota BX 2230? Bad back forces me to seek alternatives to the current bend, push, pull solution.
I recall seeing someone on this site who had even fabricated their own assembly.
Thoughts anyone?

NorthernTool has quick connects for the lift arms that have a couple advantages for the sub-compacts. They give you some flexibility in hook-up, and also lengthen the arm for a little additional lift. Check out their website, or Nortrac. You'll find them at either site. ....

I hate to be the 'bucket of cold water' in this, but, I'm not sure a quick hitch is the miracle some people think it is.
If an implement is sitting on a proper, flat, level spot and the tractor is backed in squarely to it, hitching need be nothing more strenous than operating the tractor itself.
If, on the other hand, the implement is tilted one way, and the tractor the other, or the tractor is not backed in perpenduicular to the implement the hitch still won't line up I don't believe that the quick hitch is of much help in that case.
We have an area in the yard (against the shops back wall) where all the implements sit on a flat level pad deep enough to accomodate the tractor as well. When a tractor is back in properly hitching is nothing more than an easy one-hand operation, VERY little effort is required at all.

I'd have to disagree with Murf in some ways. A properly setup quick hitch with compatible implements couldn't be easier, and with a top-and-tilt setup you can pluck implements off the uneven ground all day long. On level ground it's back up, lift, turn in your seat and latch. On uneven ground you back up, adjust the top-and-tilt to line it up, lift, turn and latch. Of course you will have to get out of the seat to hook the pto shaft up if required. And it may not be cheap getting to this point. I can swap an implement in a minute or two even on uneven ground. ....
