has anybody used or have any knowledge of the lorenze blowers. ran across there web site www.lorenzmfg .com and found out they make double auger blowers for smaller hp tractors like 84 in wide with two augers rated 40 hp . also all of there rear blowers can mount on front of the tractor with a kit that runs the blower off of the rear pto. these kits fit different makes and models of tractors .anybody know if these blowers are any good thanks

They look nice enough, but I don't know if the double auger is worth the price. I have little doubt that this one will not get a bid at that price. From what I have seen, a blower is more limited by how much snow can fit in the actual blower rotor, not how much the auger can move in. Progress is limited by speed/size of 2nd stage of blower which is limited by HP. Perhaps if you have really hard packed chunky snow to blow. ....
