Hello, my name is Nick!
My family has a Long 460 tractor.
It is leaking fuel at the throttle arm.
I tried making a gasket and also installing some various washers.
Does anyone know where to get a seal kit or have any suggestions on how to stop the leak?
Once the nut comes off the rod pulls downward so you kinda have to hold it up with some pliers while you are installing the nut which can make this a frustrating job!!

Its leaking around that shaft so we tried putting a washer underneath the throttle arm but once that arm turns it squashes the washer around to where it starts leaking again. I feel like it needs another seal down inside the unit or something. Anyone have experience with these? Maybe im using the wrong washer. ....

It is an "o"-ring that goes on that shaft. I can't stop right now other than this, but tomorrow mid day I'll get you a link to a rebuild kit that includes the o-rings and gaskets. I just did mine a few weeks ago. Although mine is a 2360 I think the gaskets and o-rings are the same. Ken ....

Below are two gasket kits that may work for your application. I could not find the same exact kit I used to rebuild mine about two years ago. If you can find the exact part number, I think they usually start with a "TX". I'll be happy to help you find the correct one. I've moved twice since, I got mine and I cannot for the life of me find my parts manual.

Good luck on the repairs. I find the long tractors are the height of simplicity, simple to work on and they are very durable tractors, Mine is a 1996 2360 with 46 HP and it will pull like a caterpillar.
If I can be of further assistance don't hesitate. It may take a couple of days to get back to you, but I will reply.

Thank you for the links! I have purchased the rebuild kit and I am confident one of those washers will improve or solve the problem.
Thanks again for the help.
I agree they are good machines.
This one needs the electric starter system gone through. He's parked it on a hill for over 15 years lol. ....

Nick, one other thing, if you have a harbor freight or something simular you can pick up a small kit of various sizes of O-rings. If my grey cells are remembering correctly, I think I paid about 4 bucks for several each of 15 different sizes. ....
