Popular Pistol Ammo, .22, .22 mag and .223 ammo is still scare here in Michigan. You can get hunting rifle and shotgun ammo without a problem. I bought a nice Savage .17hmr bolt action rifle this spring along with a couple thousand rounds of ammo since it is available everywhere. Winchester even had a rebate on .17 hmr ammo going at the time.

There is a product called roof coat especially made for coating barn roofs. In our farming area we have several contractors that put this on. It usually comes in a light gray or silver. Believe it has fiberglass strands in it which helps hold it together over the years stopping it from pealing. Powerwash the roof first, let it dry and screw down any loose sections. If you are only doing a small section, there is stuff mobile home owners use that will do the trick. My barn was painted almost 20 years ago with it and it still looks good.

Cycling causes lots of problems for men. The normal bike seat cuts off circulation to the boys down under. Suggest you get a new seat; either the easy seat or easy seat II. It feels kinda weird at first. You actually sit on your hip bones and the center section is cut away.

Some years back I injured one of the boys and it had an infection that caused PSA readings upward of 6. My normal is 0 to 1/2. It took almost a year of heavy antibiotics to fix the problem.

The CVT (constantly variable transmission) design is very effective for mileage but a real dog with regard to performance. The 6-speed automatic transmissions have been a great improvement over the older 4-speed designs. They are being replaced with 8, 9 & 10 speed designs. I drove an 8 speed in a Dodge Charger with Hemi last year which takes some getting accustomed to. (If you like a performance ride and a full sized car, you owe it to yourself to test drive one of these.) The shifter movement is different. This 8 speed is a German design that is also being used by BMW and a few others.

All of these take a little to get accustomed to, but do give better mileage while performance is decent almost like a manual transmission. The onboard computer has a slight hesitation. My 2012 Dodge Journey has a 6 speed automatic with 283 HP VVT V-6. If at 55 mph you pull out to pass and step on the accelerator nothing happens for a split second (it has to decide how far to shift down) then it kicks in and acceleration is good. As you pull in, you're doing about 80 mph. I found that if you step on it and then step on it more while it is thinking it seems to get confused and the hesitation is slightly longer yet before it kicks down a couple more gears before your head snaps back. Its rated 283 HP acts more like over 300 HP.

Many of the Mahindra tractors are actually to an old Mitsubishi design that was sold to them. This design was used in the mid-late 1990's and sold as Cub Cadets. These tractors had starting issues with regard to voltage drops as the circuit went from the ignition key thru all of the electrical interlocks before going to the starter. The starter won't crank reliably at 8-9 volts. An inexpensive fix for this is discussed on many threads here. That may be an issue. Ice in the fuel is definitely bad and the fuel filter could be clogged. This all needs to be drained and flushed. Suggest using a fuel additive to prevent moisture build-up in the future.

Even though these may be an older tractor design, they are solid. My 1994 model Cadet is still running strong.

I was under the impression that the "Red" CNH tractors were the same as their "Blue" brothern with the exception of paint and a few minor issues. But,"Red" tractors don't seem to break in half or atleast I haven't heard about them.

Are they completely different?

I wouldn't think it would be a kink in the hose. Pressure is pressure, so a kink would only slow down the movement.<br>

What you may have:<br>
1. are bad piston seals which would allow leakage passed them reducing the lift. Does it want to lift higher on one side than the other? (i.e. one cylinder working correctly and the other not) If you raise the loader and turn off the tractor, does it drop down. It should stay at the same height for a long time (i.e. days)<br>
2. a clogged hydraulic oil filter. When mine got dirty the suction collapsed it restricting flow and pressure.<br>
3. a bad pump<br>
4. a bad joystick valve that is leaking

I have a 32' x 48' and wish it were a little longer. The 32' allows (2) generous size doors and a nice distance between doors on a gable end. That way, I can get(3)vehicle widths parked inside. For length, I can keep my 18' flat bed connected to my truck. On the other side, I can keep my 14' enclosed attached to my pick-up and have a few feet behind for a workbench. In the middle row I park a tractor and tools.

I went with tall sides with one door being about 11' tall. I can park an RV or camper inside if it ever happens. The other door is 9' tall and allows my enclosed to fit.

I would build up the area where you encounter a slope and pack it hard so the concrete doesn't settle.

12 gage flare gun with capsicum rounds. Legal in almost all states. It has rock salt with natural plant pepper extract. The open wound burns like hell. It will take down a "Grizz" but you better run. After the initial shock, he will be pissed and want to get even.

A pop-up deer blind works, held in place with tent stakes. Position it that the door is down wind and leave it open to let fumes out. Position the generator that the gas tank is easily accessible from that doorway.

Before closing down my Bad River company, we often sold products to put a carry-all together. We used our 3pt. hitch adapter/2" sq. tube receiver adapter and bolted it to a horizontal drawbar. Customers could go to Harbor Freight and get a cargo carrier for about $60.00 which sometimes was on sale for $40.00.

They have a 500 lbs. rated capacity. We would not use their standard rail outer wall/fence but line it with 3/8" plywood and build up a box around it with 6" tall sides. Since your hitch won't go all the way to ground level, 2" x 6" ramps could be made with 1 1/2" angle irons on the end to catch on a lip for connection to the carrier. You could roll up generators, small lawn mowers, tillers, snowblowers, etc. on it.

This carrier would also fit your pick-up or SUV. Without the carrier attached, your tractor could use the hitch adapter for moving trailers. It was a very versatile and inexpensive combination.

At the time we also sold a vertical rack system that mounted to the rear of the tractor for holding a toolbox, chainsaws, shovels, hoes, rakes, axes, weed trimmers, etc.

Sounds like you have a battery that doesn't hold its charge and recharges after about 5 minutes of running. It probably will be dead again in a couple of minutes/hours. A battery usually runs about $75.00.

Possibly the idle rpm is too low. There should be an adjustment screw at the cable linkage allowing you to adjust the idle. A few minutes with a screwdriver should fix this.

A clogged filter would be my first consideration. Once I had a similar problem and a partially clogged filter would collapse from the suction giving the same results as you have mentioned. Suggest an authentic JD filter.

I read that gun sales in recent months have spiked to record levels. Also understand that Ruger had stopped accepting new orders from dealers in March and will start accepting them again in late May/early June. They've been working 24/7. Other manufacturers have been busy as well.

Ammo was scare shortly after when Obama was elected again due to record sales. Prices spiked at this time as well. Recently haven't seen any availability problems, but that could change in the near future.

There is an interesting hidden turn to all of this. I understand George Soros (gun hater) thru some type of shell ownership with other business friends own the Cerberus holding company that owns Remington,DPMS and others along with some ammo manufacturing companies. Assume they will at some point use their extra-ordinary profits from record sales to fund the anti-gun lobby. Some speculate this will happen if Obama is re-elected.
