Yes, I do know that the link belt is for temporary use. But need something should my old one fail.<br>
I watched a YouTube video on a "scarf joint" done to a busted belt and it was incredibly strong.<br>

So, if this really turns out to be as strong as purported I can cut a new belt and join it with the scarf joint. Hmmmm!<br>
Others use wire to 'stitch' a belt together. I am saying: "I do NOT want to deal with the hydraulic pump and hoses and fluid to replace the belt." Of course I need to be on my guard to detect the belt if it breaks so the engine does not overheat.

I have discovered that one of th seals on wheel side leaks. When I put out in the plow�s gearbox it all came out. So, I need to find a seal or make one because finding a seal to fit that may be impossible due to the age of the plow. Does anybody have an idea on how to make my own seal for that axle coming out of there to the wheel on the plow?
