My 6X4 on shutdown will backfire after about 1-2 seconds. It is definitely in the muffler. Is it running that rich? What would be the ignition source? The plugs look fine and it starts right up.<br>

Good ideas. (The gator is definitely cheaper to maintain. :-) I'll try rotating the spring. I have a spring compressor if necessary.
