Murf is of course correct, however, I had the Curtis loader blade and got rid of it in favor of using the loader bucket and rear mounted blower. The loader blade would be fine if you plow commercially but I did not like it's functionality for a gravel driveway nor did I care for losing the use of the bucket. The one I had did not come off and on easily either. Murf's idea for building the blade from plow parts is a better one as it allows it to free float. Curtis does not do that unless you use the float function on the loader which will allow the front end to lift etc...

Next week begins my solar project with the installation of an array of panels to produce 7.3 KW.

I researched and have been involved with windmills for some time and the reality is you need to be very young and have plenty of funding from big brother to make those anywhere near a payoff prior to kicking the bucket as it pertains to a residential generator.

As for the large commercial generators, again, taxpayers fund those things one way or another otherwise we would not be many of them either.

Similar to most products, as sales increase, the more problems you hear of. They may have a great record, say a .1% failure rate, but if they sell a million units that leaves 100 pizzed off people.

I use fuel that is several years old at times, always treated initially and run through a water trap and water separating filter prior to use. Never had an issue of any kind.

That looks terrible, sorry for your problems with the TC. I would at least attempt to contact the factory for assessment. I loved my TC29D relative to ergonomics, none better, but had constant issues with it.

I have had one 7' MM deck and it was on my Boomer. That was the best deck I have ever owned and mowed flatter and did less "digging in" with the caster wheels that the Kubota deck. The 6' I had on the JD was the worst IMHO.

Good deal, sounds as though the double augers are worth looking for. I did not use mine last year but if the winter keeps going as it has I may mount it soon. Don't like losing my back blade but you can't have it all I guess.

Hope you have a heated cab, can't imagine using one without it.

I learned the hard way that a "bargain" generally costs you more in the long run. People pick at me, in good humor of course, when I go for quality items. A bargain on a one time use tool is one thing but not for something that you expect to last for decades. My 2910 will turn 10 next year, so far the only parts I have replaced are filters.

I have used the dish soap mix with excellent success when applying a vegetation killer. Some of that stuff comes with a surfactant and some doesn't so obviously you need to read the label and take it from there.

I already receive thread subscriptions and I like that feature so that is in place is it not? Perhaps an "opt out" feature would simplify matters for those that do not want to follow a thread they post in.

Another thing that may help TP would be to install a link to other accounts such as Facebook. This allows stuff posted here to be automatically posted to our profile there if we so choose.

Keep in mind that you should use approved NH attachments, especially the loader. There have been cases of that brand of tractor breaking the castings due to no sub-frame support. FYI you may want to price prior to purchase.
