Shudder or clatter can have various causes but on a new machine I'd guess a seal-leak resulting in clutch surface contamination. Could be a lot of work to resolve but Kioti should be compensating the dealer.

If you don't want to accept the dealer's brush-off but don't know to exercise your rights (including a loaner during the repair), I'd consult a lawyer or at least a paralegal.

My goodness. You are in the Cook Islands. I have no idea where they are.

I think you said the steering is fine with the fronts off the ground. It might be helpful to know if (a) something is binding from the weight, (b) if it's from a geometry change when the front is down, or (c) if there is no PS but you can't tell when the wheels are free. So you could do this.

Raise the fronts. Put some grease on a wood surface under each front. Have a helper steadily steer from one lock to the other with instructions to yell when there's resistance. Lower the fronts gradually while you watch the steering mechanism. If the resistance starts suddenly, you might be able to see why if you're watching the change from free to binding.

On many makes, you search along the clutch pedal shaft for a pair of nuts locked together, separate them, turn both to tighten, and re-lock together.

You should get an owners or operator manual, the one that comes with the new tractor. Try the seller or the head office. Maybe ebay, but make sure it's not a copy of a copy.

One reason I didn't buy a Kioti was that the selling dealer could or would not include what would be better, a service manual -- the one that is mechanics would refer to -- saying there's no such thing.

The usual problem is air in the fuel system, which has to be cured by the bleeding process for that model.

I lubed the zerks, put an extra cover over the hyd connectors, oil-sprayed the metal, and covered with a tarp. (Knew it wouldn't make a difference but I felt better.) Preventing condensation is hard because you can't fill every air space. But it's easy to detect water when you're using it, so watch for it and be prepared to change the fluid.

"Additives, such as Power Service Clean Diesel will prevent minor amounts of water problems...." I wonder how additives for water control are supposed to work. A fail-safe protector is a fuel bowl that lets any water separate out at the bottom.

As for hyd fluid, some makes say every 1000 hrs, Yanmar wants the fluid and external filter replaced and internal filter cleaned every 300.

There are mowers designed for slope work. Meanwhile, I don't see how the loader can hurt, if it's just above the ground.

Maybe you could rig an anti-roll device. Picture an axle bolted to the back of the bucket, maybe angled aft a bit, extending to the downside. Maybe even install a wheel on the lower end.

Depends what you mean by easy. You need a fitting to plumb in to the right place to get the pressurized fluid out, and another for the return. You need two hyd fittings to mount on the rear for your hyd attachment. (You probably want quick-connect couplers for this. There are basic ones and upgrade ones. You should color-code them so you plug the right attachment coupler to the right tractor coupler.)

Then you join the two sets of fittings/couplers, using the right kind of hose, properly swaged to the metal at both ends. Add a bit of fluid to fill the hoses, and you're ready to roll if your pump is up to the extra load.

Check the battery ground (neg) cable. Then the other wires in the starting circuit. Then the starter cutout that permits the circuit when the clutch pedal hits bottom.

Then get a remote starter ($10, auto supply shops). It's a small box with a button, and two wires coming out. One wire clips to the battery pos. The other clips to the starter terminal. On the face of the starter there are two large terminals (stay away) and one smaller terminal near them. That's the starter terminal.

Mount up. Have someone press the button. Now you can start while bypassing everything that could have prevented it.

I think on some Belarus models there's a duel 12/24-volt system, so check for that.

I doubt you'll get a diagram, but what could be simpler? If the factory design is an odd-ball, toss it and start over and don't even bother going through the ignition switch.

A solid company that makes rugged machinery. But all a tractor is good for is a place to sit and maybe to show off on your driveway. OK, maybe to tow something.

The work is done by the attachments, so focus less on the tractor and more on what you'll put on it. How good, how easy to install/remove, how much when part of a total package. (What if you want a mid-mount mower and none is available? What if you decide to install a FEL and find it's one-third the cost of the whole tractor?)

The next issue is service. You won't get replacement parts at the local TSC store -- you'll be a captive of the dealer. (Less so if you get a service manual with it and know how to follow its directions.) Every machine will need service. What if it won't start? It may be under warranty but how will it get together with the mechanic?

Of course, try one out. If you're a big guy, you may learn that in other countries the operators are half your size.

Never thought about it but would guess there's the same drive system both ways.

Which brings up another point. On dry pavement I don't care how many wheels are powering me. But when climbing an icy hill, I want 4.

I've got my Jeep stuck when 4WD becomes 2WD -- both wheels on one side spinning uselessly. I wish vehicles had a clear designation for having the equivalent of limited-slip at both ends. All salespeople can talk about is color.

My Dremel takes two minutes to make the chain like new.

There are marks on the chain that shows the angle. The other variable is that the Dremel must be perfectly horizontal (assuming the chain-bar is clamped in a vice perfectly vertical). So I glued a small bubble level on the Dremel.
