Well you have gone this far so take the starter apart and check the brushes. Some time they slip out of the bracket that holds them against the commutator. Sometimes they weardown and in that case you can turn them sideways and re-install them and they will work for a little while.

That is the result when you cut the Military Funding, I am not talking about controling I am talking about cuts. Under clinton and gore the security of this country was compromised. I do not agree with staying in Iraq, we cannot save them. These same people that that we have put in power will either die or turn against us when we leave.

Install an aerator, this will stop your sulfur smell. 200 to 300 gallon should do just fine. I clean the aerator once a year with clorine.

I dont think the windmills will be a problem when we are looking at them from inside our air-conditioned and heated homes. I wish your son the best this is indeed a worth while Job. I'll take two windmills if the payments can be streched out over a long period of time.

I know, off subject, hope I dont get murffed. :-) Bird feeders attract rodents, birds, squirrels and other assorted cridders. But most of all they attract snakes. Chicken snakes, black snakes and the such. These are good snakes and will stop your rodent problems better than cats without the smell. On the other hand snakes take a nap in the winter. I have several snakes on my property and they have been there for a few years no rodents. Now poison snakes are another subject they have to go when ever found. Strolling around the yard after a few cool ones I may not be at the top of my game cant take that chance. SG.

I understand that this might be an important subject to you, never mind history. Everything relgious that this country was founded for and on, is not in school. Nothing about the bible. Our government backs this outrage. A few people do not belive, so no-one is allowed to speak or pray in areas that are paid for by tax payers. It has been a few years since I attended school. I wonder what the teachers answer is when they are asked why the first settlers came to this country. So we could eventually take advantage of Germany, Japan, Iraq, Panama, Hawaii, Watch out Murf we have gone east,west and south. Maybe we will plunder Canada yall are next. SG.

I take the leaves and yard debris I get off of my 70 oak and hickory tees and dump them around the pond each winter. Murf is correct I set fire to this and it clears all around the pond. It does grow up during the summer. The county here uses the torches you mentioned a good bit for control burning. If you had a small area they should work good. Al gore is number one on my list for something I'm sure. One goat to another I dont hop so well any more. I take it one hop at a time.<br>

I did look at that option with the mobile home frame and belive me there are plenty in rural GA. The cost will still be up there kind of high. Transportation cost and crane to set the frame and all. I realy wanted a bridge, I think I would look good on it.

I put 10 grass carp in my one acre pond. I think that it was 5 to many. There is no grass, cattails, or any kind of green vegetation where the carp can reach it. They have eaten the leaves off of the weeping willows that reach the water and any grass along the edge. I do not know how they will do with 8 or ten foot tall cattails. They even ate the floating algea. In Ga. the carp that I bought was sterile (State law)each state has a policy on grass carp your DNR (department of natural resources) should be able to help you with a vendor in your area. Ten years ago mine cost me $7.oo apeice for 12" carp.

Ellen, Go to the Photo section of tractor point, click on Beagle 20 and look at his # 20 photo. This might give you some idea. This is a span of 33' with no support. I belive it was for 800# load limit. If you put supports in the middle it may work for you. Timbers this size are not cheap. You maybe able to use telephone poles if you use supports.

Hardwood,

A friend of mine at work bumped his head and he was sent to Medical to see a doctor. They took X-rays to check his spine and found a spot on his lung. To make a long story short he went through Radiation treatment and after 6 years he is cancer free and back at work.

I hope your son has the same good fortune as my friend. My hopes and prayers are with Steve and his family.

That is a very good method I have used it many times. I use three strand white nylon line. You can move large piles very easy. For the most part they just slip across the ground.
