Wow, I haven't been on this site in ages, and miss keeping up with some of you. Still have the TC45D, around 800 hours. The antifreeze leak was an O ring that was almost impossible to get to...can't remember if we ever did fix that, just add some occasionally. And, I'm getting old, I forgot what exactly the hydraulic leak was, but as I mentioned, still using the Boomer. I do know that the 3PH will struggle to stay up under load at idle, I'm not sure what is causing that.

I have a TC45D, and it keeps blowing the #2 fuse, which in the owner's manual states "8 amp circuit breaker". The PTO light is on, but I don't have the PTO engaged. Most of the time, I replace the fuse (this has happened 3 times in the last 300 hours or so...), but now, now matter what fuse I put in there, it won't start, and just keeps blowing the fuse. Any ideas???

Banger, let me know how that works...I like Murf's idea...I just poured 40 yards of concrete in the bottom of the barn, and there is a beam that needs to be replaced...so now I'm thinking of incorporating something in that beam to "hang" it rather than support it from the floor.

Personally, I think the 12" will come in handy, and I can probably pick up a 9" or 6" auger for $100 or so, if my dad and I actually determine the need!

Mine is simple; it reflects the color of my tractor. This is the only site that I use it...not too creative...seemingly not enough time to be creative, as the father of four. I grew up in the suburbs in NJ, but learned to appreciate the rural life during summer visits to my grandmother's farm, where I make my home now. It is a much different way of life for my children than what I knew as a child; but they appreciate the land and the tools that we use to take care of it, including the "blue" tractor.

I've got a similar situation...the state DEP is one PITA when it comes to building bridges.
Anyway, someone once suggested to me for that type of span, find an old trailer from an 18 wheeler, take the wheels off, set it on a couple piers, and voila, instant economical bridge that will support a lot of weight...

Yes, it has an auto regeneration cycle, normally at 2AM. I called GE, and they said the "outlet" in the resin tank may have become clogged, but they had not suggestion how to service it other than to have a GE serviceman out...fairly costly where I live.<br>

I appreciate the feedback. I know the sickle bar might work for me...not concerned about conditioning since we won't be baling...these are old hayfields, meadows, etc. that have a lot of weeds as well as grass...no need to brush hog...too slow. A neighbor is recommending a disk mower...I know they are pricey, but believe I can run a small one with my tractor...they are very quick...not sure about the maintenance, and know nothing about flail mowers..

Murf, good to see you on the board again! Thanks for the info...I know I need to check the belt. I suppose the design of this mower is different than some rear finish mowers in that it simply doesn't discharge much grass...I've used a couple of others that discharge the grass better, and are more efficient because of it. I took the safety chains off the back of the mower thinking it would discharge better, and that didn't really change anything.
