Frank, most laptops now have a "wireless" internet capability. While traveling (staying at hotels) most places will have a wireless hookup available. Its very easy to do, the computor does it itself.

For use at home a laptop is fine, I would suggest getting a mouse to use in addition to what ever "touch pad" or similar the laptop come with built in.

VW V-10 TDi diesel is here. Put on my fancy clothes and drove one, but who really can afford $72k for a small-ish SUV, really? If you got that much money, fuel economy isn't a factor.

Libby CRD will be back, possibly 2008 with the ULSD. The deck is stacked against light diesels here in America. A bunch of BS, if you ask me.

Never had a problem with my BX2230, living in northern Wisconsin. Gets pretty cold here. Usually at least a couple weeks of constant below zero every winter and lots of snow.

This is a known problem on the L2800 and L3400. A replacement 3pt control valve will be done under warranty which smooths out the operation considerably.

New models now come with the updated valve from the factory.

(I had my L3400 done right away.)

Or use one of the leads to power a relay so that you can turn the lights off and on rather than only on with the ignition switch.<br>

Note the black wire with the red stripe comming out of the loom under the seat. This is one of the two ignition-hot leads in that loom. I then spliced into the tail light lead for the switch side of the relay.<br>

And, don't forget a fuse.

By no means am I looking to make an income from the cutting of hay. For the cutting and removal I would probaly give him the hay, but I do want to be educated a bit on how much or where to find how much the rate is so that I am not being taken advantage of either, that's all.

(I'm just hoping to offset some of the property tax with this money.)

The estate tax is unconstitutional by any definition. The money in the estate has already been taxed once when earned. Taxing it again is unfair and illeagal.

This tax is one of the main reasons you don't see family farms any more. $5 million is very easy to amass in a small farming operation.

You talk of working poor and gas credits, dsg. How can they get a tax break from the federal government when they pay no federal income tax?

Good for you. I feel the same way about my L3400 (gear). I was planning on a B7800, but when I found the L3400DT was actually cheaper, I couldn't go wrong!

Make sure to have the dealer replace the 3 point control valve before the warranty is up. This is a repair to lessen the jerkyness of the lift, especially with something like a brush hog on the back.

No other complaints about mine!

Changing the temper of the steel:

I doubt that there is enough carbon in this steel to change the temper by grinding. This will only happen on a high carbon steel. Judging by how soft my blades are/were they are made from mild or low carbon steel (1018 or similar).
