Send it my way. Ive got moles real bad this year and Ive found that a few black snakes will take care of them. Amazingly, Ive convinced my wife of this and she doesnt have a problem with the couple of snakes Ive imported.

There are some Dodge forums out that discuss the Hemi. From what I understand you will have power to spare to burn rubber, however, they suck gas like crazy and are real poor for towing. From what I've heard they constantly downshift to keep the rpm's up. I don't have anything against them only passing on what I've heard. They are a sweet looking and sounding truck.

Do you have to use it? No. But you may find that it really quiets combustion noise, provides better lubrication for you fuel system components, and prevents damage that may be caused by old or moisture contaminated fuel. For the very small additional cost I think additives are worth it. A quiet engine is a happy engine.

I just came back from the dealer (again) and took a drive with the tech. He said the trans was the gears needing to be worn in. The diesel fumes he said was the wind blowing. I asked him how at 40 mph the fumes could blow in and he said it can. I think I will try another dealer soon. I hate messing around with car dealers...

I have a john deere 650 tractor I use to cut my yard, i have had it about 2 years now and all the lights worked on it until ants made their home in my fuse box. I have taken the fuse box all apart and cleaned it, all the fuses are good. The funny thing is if you keep the throttle pulled back for it to kill the tractor while turning the engine over the lights will come on, but when you move the throttle forward to start the tractor the lights turn off.<br>
Any suggestions I dont no what to check.

Is there any such thing. I understand the JD post hole digger wont work with the 2210. also- from a total newbie- what is the difference between the JD2210 3 pt hitch and a standard 3 pt Hitch (limited v standard) <br>

fahrwood,
If you haven't already, try tightening your toplink all the way and recheck the 3 point travel, then with the blade on the ground check to see if the loader functions properly. On many 50 series kubota's, when you set the 3pt to full up it sets off a bypass that prevents the loader from working.
If this doesn't help and you have fluid and clean filters, you probably need a bypass valve adjustment

On that model of tractor the Belly mower was run from a front electric clutch unit with drop box to run the deck. They would be hard to find unless someone was parting one out or doesn't use it anymore. From time to time there is one on E-bay.

I have made up a MS Word document with pictures of the various decals on my SD1840 (which are all in Japanese) and the English Language Translations for them. If you have an SD1840 or think you may have the same decal on another tractor, I can email a copy to you. <br>

I would be interested in any part numbers for filters etc for the SD1840, that anyone has figgured out, that are available at local auto stores.

Pick-up vs. Mini-van is like Apple vs. gutter.

Things you can't do with a regular mini-van:
1) load gobs of stuff
2) enjoy RWD

Things you can't do with a regular pick-up:
1) load gobs of kids
2) enjoy FWD

Plus the comparison of the resale value is of little value [sic.] because the two vehicles are seldom bought for the same reasons. I can't imagine an instance where I would be trying to decide on which vehicle to buy and am debating between a mini-van and a truck. Actually I have both and like them equally for different reasons (load kids in the van, load sheep in the truck), neither does the job of the other with any degree of satisfaction.

Those are the correct retail prices on those tractors. When I am quoting or working with customers I try to not have people buy more then they need and often do to there dissappointments with prior equipments performance that is what they base there needs on. To have it so you only need to run your tractor for short periods without bringing it up to temperature for extended periods is not good for the long term with a diesel. You have nearly identical weights which means you can only push or pull so much. The PTO work should be where you can help to break the tractor in with longevity for the unit. At the 3830 size do you plane to run a larger bush-hog then on the 3430?

Jack you might want to look at the Goosen line at www.Deweze.com they have been building vacuums like what you described. I couldn't find what size tractor you have in your Bio to work from to know if you could pull one.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but the front tires should run slightly faster than the rears and never slower.

The percentage is right.... up to 5 percent faster.

You need to haul out the tape measure and see if the new tires match the old in terms of circumference. You can always keep it out of 4wd and therefore out of trouble.

There is some very good info on how to match tires on the Firestone Ag web site. It is something I have done several times and I would be glad to help walk you through it.

The Perkins 104-19 is a 4 cylinder engine, and it looks nothing like the 3 cylinder Shibaura engine. Google on "perkins 104-19" for spec sheet.

Without getting into to much, depending on the conditions of your land the Kubota is a bit smaller and more nimble in tight areas.

For the tire and the Wheel you are looking at $669.00. The manufacturers don't warrantee parts of the tractor that are dealer installed and not properly installed. That would be delt with by the dealer if it is the case.
