You will be fine. Seeds are amazing things as Murf pointed out. Many plants seeds are deisgned to be able to survive years until the conditions are right for them to germinate. When the weather gets enough moisture, you'll start seeing it grow. You may have a few funny spots where the seeds blew away or critters got them. But that's easy to overseed and fix once it rains.

The rep didn't do anything. I don't think he cared or was even told. The cars get repainted so often due to the need to repair damage that it really isn't that big of a deal. My tractor would be a different story. We took to spraying it onto a rag and using the rag to wipe the car. That way it didn't just sit there. It came about because someone sprayed it on and let it sit a bit to work the gunk loose. It got the gunk loose along with the paint.

Turns out that the fuel was being starved
because I was running out of fuel. My
gauge was showing fuel but the tank took
almost 5 gallons of disel.
I al notice that the rpm gauge sometimes
reads way off. I am assumming it may be
the instruments ground connection.

Will have to change filter later as the wife
wants to brush hog several of the fields befor
the grass gets to 30 inches.

You should see these o-rings on the loader cylinders as well.
As DRankin pointed out, these are used in the finishing process. The REAL seal, is actually what is called a wiper seal that is located behind the snap ring that you see where the rod enters the cylinder housing. That seal is the seal of concern, however, more protection of contaminants enetering is better than limited protection. It just requires the removal and disassembling of the "good" cylinder to change this o-ring...Under warranty or not, in my book it does not warrant the job.

Static measurements won't give accurate results either because they avoid the dynamics of driving the tractor. Bouncing alone can greatly increase pressure not to mention tractor attitude, weight shifts during turns, etc. The idea is to get a feel for rough numbers.

I have one also and all I know is that my Sd 1800 Holds 4.5 qts of oil in crankcase and you can use a Fram PH16 oil filter and it works fine.I have had no trouble out of mine and I use it alot I believe on the next oil change I will use Rottella synthtic oil.I have been using Rottella 15- 40 with good results.I change The oil alittle more than they recommend but that never hurts.If you Know an air filter that workds please tell me.

I just got a call from a guy who says he is in my area with his drill rig and was contacted by my well driller and was told to get over by me and get er done. I am under the impresion that my driller is swamped with work (since he has not made it out by me yet and when I last talked to him he told me he was backed up pretty far.
Anyway that what I figure anyways. So this guy talks to me and sound ok. Said he was told by Wilmarth that they had drilled 38 foot down and hit rock, laid the pipe on top of that and drilled 6 more feet to a depth of 44 foot where they broke thru? What ever that means I have no idea but the new guy seems to think there will be no problem. Said we will get in there and go a bit deeper LOL
Said he would get me the water I should have! What I like was that it sounded like he was actually concerned that I DO NOT HAVE WATER! LOL I will let ya all know next week how she goes!
Any one wanna guess what my cost will be start to finish? That would include dropping the pump and dissenfecting again? (I will be honest with ya all LOL)

My guess = $1200. (I HOPE LOL)

Ann And Dennis (IMO) hit the safe way to keep your lumber as straight as possible. Band the in piles 4'x4'x8' put up and off the ground a bit.
My buddy thats a logger dried his Ash that he had rough cut up. He done it the way that was described with the slats.
It worked great but was alot of work AND was NOT treated lumber (It was ASH) big difference! Treated lumber will bend a perfect circle more times than not if you dont take care of it LOL

Remove the top bolt & bottom half of assembly will drop. You can then inspect & disassemble it.I can supply you with parts & a parts breakdown . Need tp know if the tractor has a steel or cast clutch housing ot get the correct parts.

I've found a FarmTrac 300DTC with 122 hours, grading box, and blade for 11,500. Anybody here give me an idea if this a good price? Quality, realiability, and dependability of the FarmTrac??? <br>
I've seen it and it looks super clean. Any remarks??

You're kidding, right? I can't see a foldable ROPS being useful if you need wrenches to lower it. If that's the case maybe you could buy extra wrenches and attach them to the tractor so they're always available.

My BX2230 hydraulics make a hissing noise when raising or lowering something. It used to stop hissing when it had raised or lowered. Now sometimes it stops and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it stops hissing and starts back up again. It seems odd to me. When I called Kubota they said it's not normal. My dealer says it's normal, "nothing to worry about". The dealer has me keep the 3 point hitch lowering speed knob opened up wide all the time, full fluid flow, they say that's best. Any thoughts out there? Is this normal?

I bought a BX2230 in 9-04. The hydraulic control lever (HCL) worked perfectly for a while then started to not return to neutral automatically. It actually became quite jerky(difficult). My dealer called Kubota, they OK'd replacing some valve. It still acted up. I kept going to my dealer about it, they said Kubota said I'd "have to live with it". My dealer said I'm hard to please (next closest dealer is over 200 miles). Same day it stopped working all together. I took it in. The manager pointed out the external linkage between the lever and the casing that was jumping when I operated the HCL. I went home, sprayed dry graphite on the linkage, problem SOLVED. Any dealers out there?? It appears the problem has always been with the linkage. My dealer never noticed it. I called Kubota (Texas), they never mentioned it. Is the linkage under the 3yr warranty? My dealer didn't even offer to check into it. Meanwhile my transmission's been opened into, now I have to worry about the gaskets, they're not factory gaskets anymore. The pre-sale "friendliness" is now the post sale "stall". Anybody out there have this problem? Dealers? Mechanics?

I needed to run a LONG new water line so I had a contractor friend do the digging with his L series GST with frame mounted 'hoe, while my L3010 HST handled backfilling the trench with screenings and then dirt.<br>

We wound up driving each other's tractors for the final grading and I got a lot of complements about the ease of using the HST tranny. He wishes now that he had one on his 'bota.<br>

I went directly from a Massey Ferguson stick shift to the HST, so this was my first expwerience with a GST. I have to admit that I'll stick with the HST for the rest of my tractor driving years. Once you use it you don't want to go back.

Last week there was an immigration overpopulation conference in Washington, DC, filled to capacity by many of American's finest minds and leaders. A brilliant college professor by the name of Victor Hansen Davis talked about his latest book, Mexifornia," explaining how immigration - both legal and illegal - was destroying the entire state of California. He said it would march across the country until it destroyed all vestiges of The American Dream. <br>

Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm stood up and gave a stunning speech on how to destroy America. The audience sat spellbound as he described eight methods for the destruction of the United States. He said, "If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let's destroy America. It is not that hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall and that 'An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.'" <br>

Here is how they do it," Lamm said:<br>

"First, to destroy America, turn America into a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country." History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. The historical scholar, Seymour Lipset, put it this way: "The histories of bilingual and bi-cultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension, and tragedy." Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, and Lebanon all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons, and Corsicans.". <br>

Lamm went on: Second, to destroy America, "Invent 'multiculturalism' and encourage immigrants to maintain their culture. I would make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal. That there are no cultural differences. I would make it an article of faith that the Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due solely to prejudice and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds. <br>

Third, "We could make the United States an 'Hispanic Quebec' without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly recently: "The apparent success of our own multiethnic and multicultural experiment might have been achieved not by tolerance but by hegemony. Without the dominance that once dictated ethnocentricity and what it meant to be an American, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together." Lamm said, "I would encourage all immigrants to keep their own language and culture. I would replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor. It is important to ensure that we have various cultural subgroups living in America enforcing their differences rather than as Americans, emphasizing their similarities." <br>

"Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least educated. I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated, and antagonistic to our population. I would have this second underclass have a 50% dropout rate from high. School." <br>

"My fifth point for destroying America would be to get big foundations and business to give these efforts lots of money. I would invest in ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of 'Victimology.' I would get all minorities to think that their lack of success was the fault of the majority. I would start a grievance industry blaming all minority failure on the majority population." <br>

"My sixth plan for America's downfall would include dual citizenship, and promote divided loyalties. I would celebrate diversity over unity. I would stress differences rather than similarities. Diverse people worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each other - that is, when they are not killing each other. A diverse, peaceful, or stable society is against most historical precedent. People undervalue the unity it takes to keep a nation together. Look at the ancient Greeks. The Greeks believed that they belonged to the same race; they possessed a common language and literature; and they worshipped the same gods. All Greece took part in the Olympic games. A common enemy, Persia, threatened their liberty. Yet all these bonds were not strong enough to overcome two factors: local patriotism and geographical conditions that nurtured political divisions. Greece fell. "E. Pluribus Unum" -- From many, one. In that historical reality, if we put the emphasis on the 'pluribus'. Instead of the 'Unum,' we will balkanize America as surely as Kosovo." <br>

"Next to last, I would place all subjects off limits; make it taboo to talk about anything against the cult of 'diversity.' I would find a word similar to 'heretic' in the 16th century - that stopped discussion and paralyzed thinking. Words like 'racist' or 'xenophobe' halt discussion and debate. Having made America a bilingual/bicultural country, having established multi-culturism, having the large foundations fund the doctrine of 'Victimology,' I would next make it impossible to enforce our immigration laws. I would develop a mantra: That because immigration has been good for America, it must always be good. I would make every individual immigrant symmetric and ignore the cumulative impact of millions of them." <br>

In the last minute of his speech, Governor Lamm wiped his brow Profound silence followed. Finally he said,. "Lastly, I would censor Victor Hanson Davis's book Mexifornia. His book is dangerous. It exposes the plan to destroy America. If you feel America. deserves to be destroyed, don't read that book.". <br>

There was no applause. A chilling fear quietly rose like an ominous cloud above every attendee at the conference. Every American in that room knew that everything Lamm enumerated was proceeding methodically, quietly, darkly, yet pervasively across the United States today. Discussion is being suppressed. Over 100 languages are ripping the foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness. Even barbaric cultures that practice female genital mutilation are growing as we celebrate 'diversity.' American jobs are vanishing into the Third World as corporations create a Third World in America - take note of California and other states - to date, ten million illegal aliens and growing fast. It is reminiscent of George Orwell's book "1984." In that story, three slogans are engraved in the Ministry of Truth building: "War is peace," "Freedom is slavery," and "Ignorance is strength.". <br>

Governor Lamm walked back to his seat. It dawned on everyone at the conference that our nation and the future of this great democracy is deeply in trouble and worsening fast. If we don't get this immigration monster stopped within three years, it will rage like a California wildfire and destroy everything in its path, especially The American Dream.

KT: Yes what I meant to say is the basin wrench is for the drain; the "faucet" wrench, for clarity, is designed with a long entending handle that can reach up under past the sink (basin) and grasp the fittings for the faucet connections.
