Now I wonder if El Cheapo would even haul my 300 pound carcass up-hill, especially given the power losses with the altitude around here.

Maybe I should look for something in 4wd. I have been mowing about an acre of weeds with a 5 horse push mower and it is kicking my "S".

Hi Art, The size will be 1 to 2 acres and there will be lots of flower gardens my wife already has in now but not too many trees. I want to try to make it as tractor friendly as possible if that is possible. To ease the curves so the tractor can follow and if needed will make beds around the trees but keep it light to mow ontop of a sand mound. As far as snow we don't really get too much snow, Need to plow 2 or 3 times a year, Now don't laugh but I have been using a triangel pounded out of left over house wood pulled behind my 4x4 to keep that clear so far. I would love the larger B or L series but I am afraid the B7610 is the biggest for the budget at this time.

Art being the tractor expert he is brought up a very good point when he mnentioned the use of a hydraulic top link. I forgot to mention that when I responded but since I have one I can tell you that it makes the use of bb even better. Having the instant control at your finger tips is really helpful especially when working in dirt.

Not knowing if a bevel washer is used I'd say go with at least 60 if not closer to 80. Often they are attached by air wrenches or battery powered wrenches in the shops.

It's a steal at $16.5, a good deal at $17.5. I paid about $16k for my 7800 2 years ago. Those are some good pices.
Since the 2910 and 2710 have been discontinued, there are probably some good deals to be found.

When shopping and eventually buying my TC33D back in mid 2003 I found the Deere's and Kubota's to be higher priced. Check the prices of some of the internet dealers and see if your dealer will compete with them. It's a great size and powered machine and you won't be disappointed with one. If the dealer is a good dealer then you won't have any problems should service be needed in the future and if he is not a good dealer then look else where for your tractoring needs as no matter what color you buy from him you won't be happy.

With out a knock from the rods or mains it would be the pistons or rings being to tight.

We've had only a few that were dissappointed in their choice of the 1500 and when they went up they bought the B not the BX which was recommended to them at the time of sale. The 1500 for the size of your yard would be fine and would not be overkill. There isn't a tractor built that would be able to keep up with a good zero turn mower.

Not to sound confrontational but the "filipino's great work ethnic" and "not following through and doing what they say they will do" does not sound like great work ethnics to me but rather like marginal employees. To my way of thinking showing up on time and doing your job well goes hand in hand no matter what your nationality. I feel bad for every hard working individual who loses his or her job due to unfair labor practices but as long as we as a people knowingly reward companies who do this it's going to continue to go on. I had to get this off my chest so I'll get off my soap box now and put it away.

Ncrunch I just bought a cub cadet M50 Tank which is their entry level commercial Z turn man what a differance this thing is unbelievable. I used to use a JD G100 with a 54" deck. There is no comparison B/W a Z Turn and a Garden tractor for mowing. I actually look foward to mowing now. The mowing time was reduced from 1hr and 35min to 40min and the string trimming is just about none now. And the best part is the lawn looks so much better I have gotten a ton of compliments. The Z turn cost me $4500.00 and well worth it. I would stay away from the cheaper homeowner modals they have cheaper trannys and deck systems. I just sold my G100 0n Ebay. Good luck.

I haven't read through this entire thread, but I firmly believe that while dog owners should definitely be repsponsible for the control fo their pet...$45K and 3 weeks in the slammer is competely ridiculous....It was a "cat"...not their first born son.....not their home.......their cat for crying out loud....If a case can be made that their dog is out of control..then have it put to sleep....but to put a man in jail and take $45k in damages is insane!

Whatever happened to the punishment should fit the crime? Man o man, imagine if we treated terrorists, rapists, and child molestors that harshly........the ACLU would have a kaniption fit!

That judge needs to be put to sleep! And the woman needs to get a grip! A little thicker skin would be in order.... I love the hell out of my dog..but if someone elses dog killed it.....no matter how emotional I got, I couldn't expcet the owner to go to jail or give me $45K....

It's "Dogs and Cats"...this has been going on since the beginning of dogs and cats...it's what dogs do to cats, for crying out loud!

I'm not saying that the guy shouldn''t be responisble for the damages his dog did...but com'n..I can't believe some of you are vindicating this whacko judges decision.....It's so completely beyond what is called for here it is ridiculaous...leave it to seattle......the left coast strikes again!

I am in Central Wisconsin here also, New London And also Waupaca had them only a week or so ago, maybe still do.. We loved our Liberty, moreso than the Chevy we have now, been in for tranny 2 times and only 20,000 miles. We also couldn't see paying the premium for the diesel engine and and also for the fuel.. It would have been nice if we knew it would have actually got 30 mpg, but sometime you never know till you actually buy and try.. Good luck and hope you can find one if you are still looking and if you do let me know about actual milage...John

The one in the review is the 60" mower for the B7610. To use the system on this deck requires removing the front roller. You do not have to do that on the BX version of the deck.

Yes it will! One strand of white ribbon tape 32" off the ground. The US gov gave me the tape and the charger to fence off my 4 acres. Then the Gov came along three years later and wanted me to buy the equipment. And I did.

The plastic parts are about a shade more weathered than the metal parts, this after two years out in the elements.

According to the owners manual it will brighten right up with a dose of car wax.

But my problem is My Iseki won't start very well.<br>
I have change the battery and glow plugs ,checked out de engine compresion (25 bar)for both cilinders.when i'm lucky and he will start it's working great and start's o.k when he has working for 1 hour or more. But every next morning he's starting very bad again.I have also checked de feul lines from the injector pump to the injectors, i see feul comming out, but not with a high pressure, maybe that be the problem??? If anyone know this problem, please send me a message thanks !!!!!!!

Hi Brokenarrow.. When I was a kid, I worked for a few farmers and used a Ford 641 Workmaster with 2 14's and our own Oliver Super 55 also with 2 14's.. When setting up a new plow, what we did is drive the tractor, front and rear wheels, onto something just as high as we wanted to plow deep. For the Ford we used a railroad tie,, then lower the plow to the ground which would be about 6 or seven inches lower than the tractor. Level the plow foward to back and side to side so the points of the plow and the sides of the plow are level on the ground... was pretty easy to do and once you lower them to plow, they should be plowing under the ground just as they were on the ground, nice and level and even and as good as you can get them to work...My dad wanted it to look good even though the disc and drag would just smooth it out anyway... have a ball.. I just put on a new steering gear with bushings on my 5200 series and now I am hving trouble steering to the right. Should it be greased or could it be a defective part/ IF IT NEEEDS GREASING hOW DO i DO IT? tHANKS
