The hour meter only goes to 999.9 so it could be several different amounts of hours. I can assure you it was more than 23 hours for a 40 year old tractor from the rice fields in Japan. Still could have been a good buy though. Maybe another will come along for you.

First make sure good cables, clean connections, especially check the ground wire where it attaches to the frame. Using a volt meter check the small wire going to the solenoid. When you turn the key to the crank position you should be getting voltage at that wire. Also make sure you have a good 12.6 at the large wire from battery. Maybe feedback from these tests and we can move forward.

I notice the parts manual shows two different part numbers for the gear in question. Are you sure you ordered the correct one? I am not computer savvy enough to post the page but the two part numbers are 194340-25530 (gear 14/14,reverse) and 194200-25530 (gear 13/18, reverse).

His dynamo puts out ac voltage, the regulator/rectifier changes it to about 14dc volts. Don't think he wanted to hook up the regulator until he was convinced it didn't make any difference which way the two wires hooked up.

I know from following these forums that sometimes air can be difficult to get out. If you have followed the bleeding procedure attached in my first message and maybe did it more than once then you might start to suspect the injector pump. If that is where you are at then let me know and I will give you something to try on the pump.

I will assume nothing wrong with the tractor and has been cranked within the last year. <br>

I believe some of the 1500's came with thermostart and some did not. Look under your hood and see if you have the little bottle #2 shown here. http://www.hoyetractor.com/CTGY/YM1500GLOW.htm If so, make sure it has diesel in it. If your ambient temperature is 60f or above you don't need this step. Assuming you do have the thermostart and reservoir has diesel in it then turn the key counterclockwise and hold for about 10-15 seconds. <br>

Pull the throttle back at least halfway. Turn the compression release lever and hold. #17 on this drawing. http://www.hoyetractor.com/CTGY/1500THROTTLE.htm With the clutch held down, tractor in neutral, turn the key to crank and allow it to turn over 3 or 4 seconds and at that time release the compression release lever and the engine should crank and run. If so, push the throttle in some to idle down some until running a few minutes. <br>

Maybe a little more information where the leak is? On the block underneath the starter? Is your vent underneath the clutch housing open? Does it look like engine oil? Any chance of a picture?

I don't think so but am no authority. 800 lbs difference in these tractors plus width difference. Even if the loader is wide enough to span the frame I believe the mounding hardware would be much difference. To get a definite good answer try contacting http://www.coldwatertractors.com/loaders.html They manufacture loaders for the Yanmars so would know for a fact.

Is this on an F15? Not that it makes any difference, just curious. Have you tried Hoye, Fredricks, Sheafer town and Country, Southern Global, Coldwater Tractors?

1st for me. Have not heard of a 1500 having power steering. Unless it is someones own invention the power steering should use the tractors hydraulic pump and have a diverter valve that diverts the needed amount toward the assist cylinder. In other words, the transmission sump would be the fluid used by the power steering.

The 187 is rated at 661 lbs at the pins and 529 lbs 24" behind. I would guess the 165 would be a 100 lbs or so less. Just a guess.

Are there specs availalble for the lifting capacities of 3pt hitches

Balancing out the swivel on my 2002d I have appx 7/8" on each side. Little larger than your 1500 but 1/8 to 3/16 doesn't sound like enough to me. Guess you have looked over your swivel for unusual slack, etc.?

I notice too in the parts drawings there are shims on the swivel that would move the front axle fore or aft.
