Fred Cain Co. told me that any local dealer would have
blades, just bring them in to match.
I did and my local Kubota dealer did.
Model AC-105 purchased in 10/02/99
Blade measures: 24 3/4" long; 3" width; 1/2" theck with
uplift.
It fits a 1 1/2" bolt and I ueed a 1 11/16" drive socket
to tighten the nut.

Enough said about the intelipanel! HOW ABOUT THIS: One of the best features is the ability to have a flat deck betwixt you and the tilt steering! Or, the really nice spring supported seat with fold down arms! Or, the quitness of the engine! Or the fine step down, step up with large handholds on each fender! Not to mention that one can move around on this tractor with no gear shift lever to knock you in the knickers! Well, that intellipanel?? It is very helpful to have the PTO rpm's when you are doing some heavy
mowing/bushoggin' or grooming. All in All this is one fine tractor!

Here in Saucier, Ms, it is 60 outside, light overcast and I
have been out hitting balls on my homemade redneck driving range. Having a shank problem.

On the bad side, when we get Hurricanes, it is awful(like
Camille in '69) but other than the heat, it is an ok climate.

I and my bride could not survive yall's weather!

For my lights, I am using battery operated 1 million candlepower hand held light ($10) placed on a bracked I made from a square plastic container and ty-wraped to the
ROPS. Haven't had any problems with that contaption and it doesen't look bad.

I am using a 5 ft. rotary cutter on my L31302wd. Previously used it on my older tractor. The dim's(just went and checked) are 62-1/2" and the dim's for the outside to outside Tractor tires are 64". Approx weight is 700#'s.
Tracks very well and I use it to clip over 10 miles of 10 ft. wide fire lanes. And yes, can get up real close to field fence with a good close cut.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I trust what I CAN see and with the dealer knowing the situation and agreeing to what I do, feel that warranty will not be voided.
Have a great dealer, came up 15 miles picked my unit up after I had noticed a "hiccup" in the lift last week. Brought it back quikly too. Seems there was a small sliver of metal in one of the cylinders causing the leak down and thus the "hiccup".
Again, certainly appreciate the replies.

Yeah, right on Murf,
Our county has about 12 of these to keep the 28 mile man made beach clean.
One other item that we see here is a 5 ft wide pine straw harvester...like a hay bailer....runs about $4,500 and pulls behind tractor.
On that story....sicko's doing something like that....akin to those crazies that blow themselves and innocents up!

I have approximately 10 miles of "fire lanes" that presently are kept up by disking once a year. These were installed by the Forestry about 9 yrs previous. So, I am
thinking that is I can get one that will cover 5 ft. width, then this may be the thing for me. One thing though, have you had any experience with pine straw and "clogging" the tines?

I have a L3130 with 2wd. Would not consider purchasing a 4wd
cause, you really don't need one. Mine came with those larger front tires than what is advertised.
I love on 365+ acres of timberland in south mississippi and
there is plenty of places to get stuck....but common sense
tells me where NOT to go.
Got this little gem this March 31st and now have 95 hrs.
The price was 11 grand and 5 year no interest, delivered.

New at this first time buyer needs advice

How about making one from 1/4" deck plate? I checked out my
l3130 and there is quiet a lot of room for which to attach one. I have made a "brush guard" from 3/8" plate and 1 1/2"
xxh pipe between the plates. Had a mch shp break the metal.
Welded some 1-3/4" open expanded metal and attached it to the frame. If you can obtain/have a product brochure, there is a bursh guard that resembles mine. I notice that this keeps anything from really getting under the tractor.

Dealer told me that I did not need to change the hydraulic<br>
oil until 150 hrs, just my hydraulic filter. So, changed that and if any you try it...purchase a gallon of kubota udt<br>
unless your real fast in swapping over to the new one!<br>
On my oil filtr here is a note: cut a plastic gargage bag<br>
and lay it under where the filter will come out and also place a 5 gallon bucket there to catch the waste. <br>
My dealer tells me by not changing the hydraulic fluid my warranty is still ok. Saved me a bunch of dollars...this time! Have had my 3130F-F since April

Just another "congrats" to you from rabbittrun, down in Saucier, Mississippi.
I got my 3130 in April and on Our Nations main Holiday was
out cutting my homemade driving range at 8:00 p.m. and the
meter went to 50 hrs!

p.s. yes, i have a par 3 course that i built and have to maintain on my "days off". I love it!

Shortly I will be owning one of those L3130f-f2wd(ships on the way and be in NOLA April). So, the dealer just put on his lot a B7500 w/4' fel;4wd 300 hrs for $6,500.00. Unit looks darn good. Question is is this a fair price? Have several guys at work that don't have a 'puter & wanted me to<br>

Good to see there are so many that think Kubota is a well made machine! I am going to purchase a 2wd next week and give my son my Ford 3000. Hope my implements don't mind! <br>
I was thinking of fabricating a brush guard, but after reading a recent post, may just ask the dealer to order me one. Just for good measure, I just finished mowing 3 acres of what I call "driving range" this afternoon with the old ford. Ya see, one doesen't want the old equipment to get wind of a newcomer, so work it up until the day it takes a ride on a trailer!
