it doesn't even look close to spring here yet...and i've been itching to get those stupid houseplants outside to get hosed off (they're dusty critters). The surefire way to know its spring is when i go back to real work....and that hasn't happened yet so....no spring in northern illinois.

you can get tons of land in south carolina for way cheap. I know of a couple that moved there and spend 70 k on a three bedroom two bath brick home on an acre. There is also all kinds of property to snatch, but some you kind of have to take to good with the bad. It may be dense forest or an abandoned farm...western south carolina is my vote

as a matter of fact i did not...not even a little. The only even kind of illness i got was when i got back to illinois...I'm thinking the steady drinking regimine helped to keep me kickin...and man, the food down there is excellent, especially those stuffed pablano peppers....(drool)

same with being in the office, i'm here and the insurance agent here says "wouldn't you rather be looking at an insurance site or something?" pffff...those stuffy old farts. If you don't do it you don't understand i guess. They don't understand i'm just here for the winter, i have office work. At least i can kind of talk about tractors at work now...

Before my crash, i had a cavalier, and it seemed that everytime i went through the wash, something would break. It wasn't immediate, but sooner or later something would break, i'm thinking maybe car washes and chevys don't mix...my nissan on the other hand....

When i was a little girl, my dad bought me a piano, and after a while, it became an eyesore in our living room, and the only other place to really put it was in the basement. Long story short, if you get a REAL piano, don't try to take it apart...unless you really know what you're doing, or it will snap in half and just about kill you

I totally agree on the 16 footer concept, we have booth a 14 and a 16 footer at our landscape outfit, and it always seems a little bigger is better. If you're looking for a brand that holds up fairly well but is fairly cheap at the same time, big tex is excellent for the price, please note there are better ones for more money...

Teaching swimming as opposed to drowning the kid, very good advice. I guess i got screwed up there when i got threw into the pool without proper training.

We had the same problem in our barn yard..where we park all the dumps and tractors (or at least the company i work for did) and what they did was go to the local redi mix company and get some old broken concrete and spread that around. Its not that nice to look at, but its less likely to move around like smaller stones do.

yeah, well, the only thing big about this dog was his mouth. i had an upstairs apartment and this dog would start barking as soon as the dude downstairs went to work and wouldn't shut up until he came home. It drove me to drink, (oh, and it pooped alot too)

yeah, i hear ya bro...or those cocoa shells, those stupid things are terrible. You cannot do anything around them. I guess these rubber dingies aren't so bad. And those rocks are terrible, and if you ever have to match up old stones with new stones in new beds its almost impossible.

boy howdy, try to feed and you'll be bitten. Sometimes you get the made in the usa sticker on a product and take it home patriotically...and then you have to patriotically call a company to do it for you when you figure you can't pull it off with that equipment, and you know, the company is using that same piece of equipment that you didn't buy becuase it isn't american
