I have the lift arms and the arms that go up to the short lift arms. One of the lift arms has a worm gear to raise or lower it. The lift arms are 38 inches long with the upper arms 24 inches. The L3600 has lift arms that are 28 inches with the upper arms 16 inches. Both of these can be shorten to the correct length if you have a certified welder. You can pick these up for $300 , that is what I paid for them.

I wish all of you would try the Glide-Shift transmissions before buying. This tractor gets all of the horsepower to the ground, a gear to gear type that will shift from forward/reverse without using the clutch. This tractor controls loads well going downhill too. The tractor has 8 forward , 8 reverse speeds that can be changed without clutching, never have to stop a bush hog from running. I use the clutch mostly coming to a stop, but could just shift to neutral. I have been running all 3 types and prefer the Glide-Shift.gaspur

So your unit doesn't have a draft control lever. Somewhere there is a control that regulates the speed of the 3 point hitch. On the similar size Kubota's it is a round knob under your knees in front of the seat. Turn this to change the lift and drop times to see if that changes anything.

What are the chances that air may have gotten into the fuel lines? Did You cut the fuel back on after cleaning the filter? These are some of the things I've done before.

Jeff I just ease up on the fuel pedal or slow the engine down with the throttle control.It will shift fairly fast so I use the foot pedal. If I shift into neutral ,the pto will keep running. We have never had a problem with them yet. I think it is the perfect set-up for a tractor. It is gear to gear , you can downshift going down a hill to slow the machine, in fact.
