Is this the one that had been run on gasoline? Call a Kioti dealer and get a shop manual and a parts manual. It will be worth the money. It will make it alot easier buying parts too.

I am from the other side of MO. Could you share with me the dealer that gave you that package deal? The only thing I would change is a finishing mower instead of a brush cutter. While you're at it, did you get any feeling for the break out of the components of the package? Did you consider going out of State to save on tax?

I didn't want to write a book on the subject. My reply was mainly in defense from the guy with the "only buy big name because you are gonna get an orphan if you buy anything else" claim.
I'm sorry I was missinformed about the kukje's. Their website shows the J.D's. I wasn't meaning to paint a false picture.

I would pass on the truck but, the dealer sounds good. Anyone that would tell you all of that must be O.K. I have a F250 ext cab 4x4 with 155K on it 460/5spd. If you find one you might as well buy the 460, the 351 didn't do much better on fuel. The 460 with reg maintenance will last and last. Mine has done nothing but pull a trailer it's whole life, I've done nothing but regular maintenance(brakes, hoses etc). I still get 12/14 unloaded and 8/10 pulling between 5000 and 9000lbs.

I guess I should have said no standard off the shelf filter will filter out soot.

It is the same tractor as the early 1914's. Which for all intents and purposes is the same as the newer 1914's. There have been some upgrades in power steering, etc. But the tractor is basically a stripped down 1914 with 2 less HP. Hitch is cat 1.
