In order to buy from Unverferth you must have an account with them or use an Unverferth Dealer. They do not sale to the general public over the phone/net. You don�t necessary have to be in the equipment business to be a dealer but, they do require that you be in the service parts/repair field (Tire dealer/Shop) and have a tax ID number to buy from them. I guess one could argue over if this makes you a dealer but, you are set-up to buy from them.

You are correct about the TC30. I didn�t mean to imply that the TC30 was considered a Boomer because it is not. A better choice of words would have been All Boomer and TC30. My point was to clearify that they share the bolt pattern.

NH basically brought back the line because of Market demand for a lower cost unit in that HP range. The Boomer�s of that HP range did have and economy model for several years but, it was still over priced and didn�t meet the Market demand so, the econ models were replaced by the TC30 but they (TC30) are not marketed as Boomers.

Look for more of the same thing from all the manufactures in the future. There are increasing markets for more cost effective (plain/no thrills) tractors. The Big boys are having to deal with the cheaper imports. Deere is doing the same thing with their 03 series and NH with there TTA series.

With the loader stilled installed and the bucket on a level surface, loosen the loader mount bolts. Sometimes this will help to align the mounts and level the bucket.

EW,

With the added lift capacity of the new curved boom loader NH beefed up the bellhousings on the new models to handle the added stresses of the new curved boom loader.

This is why NH and your dealer has advised you not to use the curved boom loader on your 02 TC33D. If you remove the alignment pin the curve boom loader will fit on your unit but, you are running a high risk of a major failure that could reach as much as $8000 (None Warranty)

If you�re still interested in using a 14/15 LA loader on your unit then I would highly suggest that you try an upgrade the bellhousing.

The TZ units are completely assembled in Japan where they are tested before being partly disassembled for shipment to the staging area located in Dublin, GA where they are stored until delivery to the dealer.

The dealer is responsible for reassembling the tractor and checking for any defects (shipping or other). Once the unit has been sold the dealer should performing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) before delivering the unit to the customer.

Regardless of where the over spray came from the dealer should have found and properly fixed the issue before delivery however, like someone else pointed out a dealership is only as good as it�s employee�s.

NH has a kit that's available from your dealer that will correct this problem. The kit contains two new tubes with the 90 deg bend (Eliminating the elbow hose)and two new straight hoses.

Chain balers are a little more forgiving than a belt baler . They will round most anything you throw at them but you have to keep them out of the dirt! Dirt crops like peanut will take a toll on the chains. Like Art said make sure you look at the chain links for excessive wear. Be sure to check the floor chains and guides. A bad guide can cause a new chain to hang up.

Chains and guide are expensive but if the baler is in decent shape and your not using everyday you should be fine.

It could be your water pump leaking from the "weep" hole. It could be running down your front cover making it appear that the front cover is leaking. Check your hoses clamps to insure they are tight.

I guess I'm lucky. Mine doesn't have the Pack Rat Gene. She would throw me away if I stood still long enough. She does how ever have the I can't stop long enough to buy fuel gene. She will ride on empty until the last possible minute for stopping to buy fuel. An then it's usually only 20 BUCKS.

It's all in what you like really. The world would be a boring place if we all liked the same thing. It's funny in a way I've been in the Ag business all my life an have own good/bad Equipment build by many different Manufactures. But when it comes to my vehicle there�s only one FORD.

You�ll have a hard time finding a bigger Ford man than I am. I�ve had Blue blood all my life. Never owned a Chevy, never seem the need to. I�ve heard they ride good but, I don�t buy a truck to ride good, I buy a truck to work with. Not sure if I could even drive a chevy. I�ve often wondered if the brake pedal is on the left or the right.

Your problem is related to low voltage. Some of the newer NH/CIH 33 an 29 hp Compacts seem to be having this problem.

The symptoms leads you to think it's starter related and replacing the starter will improve the problem for a short time.

The voltage drop is most likely coming from the glow plug relay.

The proper fix will be to add a circuit Breaker to the start circuit.

Contact your local dealer he should be able to provide you with additional information on the problem.

I think the parts and instructions are now available from your local dealer. It's a fairly straight forward installation or I�m sure the dealer will be glad to do it for you.

Man! I have been filling Tractor tires with water an Anti-Freeze for more years than I care to remember and I never knew it was so difficult.

Jarndt,

Any of the better part stores (NAPA, CARCRAFT etc) should have the valve. It's really simple to use an you shouldn't have a problem.

I'm not sure why you were thinking of adding Ballast to your front tires? Just keep in mind that you can add to much Weight to a Tractor.

Any weight added to the wheel either water or steel adds Centrifugal weight which increases the amount of HP it take to turn the tires. You want to add enough weight to maximize traction and improve Ballast but stop short of creating an Anchor.

As far as which is safer Windshield washer fluid or Anti-freeze. You might want to read the back of the next gallon of washer fluid you buy.

You gave the best advice... Good old common sense will keep you on all fours. Just think before you act. Ask yourself if what your about to do is a good idea.

Other good ideas. Always keep your load at the lowest point possible. The higher the load is raised the more unstable your unit becomes. If you must operate with a raised load then slow down, take your time and avoid making high speed turns.

I can't express enough the importance of using a rear mounted weight box when using a loader. It not only equals out the added stress to the driveline caused by the load but, it will also improve the handling of your tractor. Without a weight box any weight in your bucket (including the weight of the loader and bucket itself) is carried by the front axle which means your steering system has to work harder in order to try and turn the tires and in some cases you lose most of your steering performance and in others cases the system simple can�t turn tires unless your moving.

If your carrying all the load with the front axle then think what's happening to your front tires. Without a weight box to balance the load with the rear of your unit your hammering your front tires. Premature tire wear will become an issue.

But lets be real here.. IF all you do with your loader is carry around a shovel, rake and a few pot plants then you may not necessarily need a weight box but, I would bet that very few people fall into that category or at least for very long.

One of my favorite sayings is �You can�t fix stupid� In other words a Manufacturer can do everything in their power to prevent an accident from happening but, in the end it�s really up to the operator to use his/her Common sense.

Not sure of the tool in your box but, I would first check the Hydraulic pressure at your remotes if,I'm not mistaken it should be 2350 psi.

The system has a priority valve that should insure you always have steering if, the steering is soft than your pressure could be low.

Well, In todays world all the manu- are up against the fence with engine hp. With the new Tier 2 standards for 2003 and Tier 3 for 2007 their trying to Balance HP and Emissions.

Most Manu- are meeting PTO hp by the skin of their teeth and when you throw Hydro into the mix your asking for trouble.

Some Hydro trans of the same make can vary as much as 5% from one trans to the next so, when your talking about a 30 hp tractor they have to be careful about advertised hp.

This is also the reason you can see differences in return to neutral between two tractors of the same make.

By having three gear ranges you basically have three different gear ratios to make better use of your engine torque curve.
