I bought a sawsall many many years ago and have used it on many occasions.

But then a few years ago I had a project that would best be done by an Angle Grinder.

Now I almost always grab the angle grinder for cuting metal. The vibration of the sawsall is just too intense.

Hey Bob,

Those are very different tools for sure.

I recently was working on some sheetmetal and the angle grinder was the tool of choice.

I think which one you use can depend on the amount of vibration the the target item to cut will generate is th emain issue for choosing which one.

Sadly it usually I do not figure that out so good ahead.

Both have their place in my shop, had to cut spring perches off an axle tube and not very good for a sawzall but a grinder i can cut them off and grind the welds,in a tight spot and to say cut a bolt off you cant get a grinder to a sawzall so its like 2 different animals, really need both for the shop ....
