New guy here, from Downeast Maine.
Picked up a Satoh S650G as part of a barter deal, overall in decent shape but previous owner was troubleshooting a no-start problem and removed the distributor. Now he can't find it. :-(
Not having any luck finding a used one on line. Couple of sites list them but don't have one on hand.
If anyone has one or suggestions where I might find one, it'd be greatly appreciated.

google satoh engine diagram,theres a free pdf repair manual that has the distributor type listed with an exploded diagram,might help,also think it a mazda pb60.2 ci engine that was used in yale fork lifts 71-73,distributor cap,rotor fit a 73 mazda rx3,took me forever to find a parts list for my kioti but keep looking its out there and someone has the answer,try tractor joes ....

also the year would be helpful,theres a couple engines used and one would be with OHV ....

Thanks for the information, I'll pursue that.
It's definitely the OHV engine.
Don't know the year, but suspect it's late production. Can't find a serial number reference that cross to a year. Serial is S650G-800732 ....
