Just picked up a TD24ZA knowing it had issues. Two things it's doing are #1 the hydro acts weak. The guy said over time it has gotten slower. It has 277.9 hours. Hydraulics seem to work ok. Bucket works well as does the deck lift. Second issue is the deck slows in deeper cuts but I think it's the deck belt. I'm more worried with the drive issue. I'm in its cheap so it's to not afraid to fix it. All new filters and oil are on order already. Thanks for any help

This may sound odd, but check the fwd & rev pedal mounting bracket. The bolts can loosen over time and flex enough that you won't get the speed that you would like.

As for the mower, it only works well at 3000 RPM engine speed. But engage and disengage the clutch mechanism at a lower RPM, say 1800-2000, then once engage bring it up to 3000 RPM. ....
