Hello, I am new to this site. I have a few old tractors that I am working on as a hobby. Matter of fact I have three... 1996 long 2360, 1996 Massey Ferguson 253 and a 1955 john deere model 60. I grew up on a farm in SE GA.

I need some guidance on my long because as of this date I haven't been able to locate an electrical schematic. In my fuse box on the left side box as you look toward rear of tractor is a 15 amp fuse that keeps blowing... a definite direct short. The wire from this fuse is in a bundle as large as my thumb. I'd rather not open this bundle of wires. Since my tach and a couple of other guages aren't working right now and they did work it appears this fuse may have something to do with it.

Any advice or an electrical schematic or guidance would be greatly appreciated by this old buzzard. Thanks Ken

Another tractor enthusist gave me a copy of the electrical diagram.

With the diagram I found the fuse holder was not holding the fuses tightly. Adjusted the holder bracket, tested and everything is working just like when new. Using the diagram I guess I looked a little more closely and found the problem.

Folks have a great fall day. Ken ....
