Shreader frame making contact with rear tires

The shreader attachment is very close to the back tire on my D2000FB. The lower lift arms are 24" long. Would longer lift arms help keep the shreader's frame from making contact with the rear tires when turning? If so what brand should I look for and how long?

You are talking about a rough cut mower right?

It sounds like you may not have stablizers on the lift arms to limit side to side movement of the cutter. Your tractor may have chains or linkage for this. If the cutter is clear when going straight most likely this is your issue. ....

Sometimes you can remove the rears and reinstall them with the other side out -- to increase the offset, that is, make the track wider. ....
