Ignition Wiring Letters don r match

Hi All!

I baught a replacment Ignition and the lettering is not the same as my manual?

My new ignition letters are... C,BR,B,R1,R2
My manual ignition letters ... IG,ST,B,G1,G2

Can anyone help me cross refrence???

The new ones are likely the equivalent of the old. To tell, hook up the old one if it's removed. Note the multimeter reading on each terminal as you turn it on and off. Repeat with the new. If the working terminals give the same readings, that's reasonable confirmation. ....
