I have bought a long 2360 and was wonding about the level above the clutch what's is it for? i think it may have something to do w/ the p.t.o . And on the p.t.o it's said's indepent and sycro. Is indepent as good or better then live. And what does the sycro mean on the p.t.o thank's

You do mean lever right? Not sure on the lever but you probably are right it is for PTO. Would not think that tractor has a two speed pto so my guess is to engage or disengage the pto. Have you tried depressing the clutch but seeing what happens with you move it?

The indepent is most likely the way you will use it for that should have no connection to ground speed while the sycro probably works with ground movement only. ....
