Any one tell me how to replace brake shoes on the tractor ? I took the 4 bolts out that holds the brake housing on but I cant get the housing off .What do I need to do to get it off? Thanks

Well, on some tractor drum type brakes, the housing itself is the drum - and shoes tend to get stuck against the inside of the drum/housing. In those cases you have to use alternating right/left pulling force like you do with regular brake drums. Not as easy as it sounds if you've never ever worked on drums before.
But I'm pretty sure on these older Jinmas, the brake housing is just a housing - and that the drum and shoes are inside. And I know that the paint was slopped on pretty thick back then. So in this case I'm thinkin' the housing is simply glued to the housing by a combination of paint and a rotten gasket. Obviously remove the (four?) bolts that hold it to the differential, and disconnect the external linkage. If it's a cast housing, don't be tempted to hammer on it. If you can't manhandle it to the point where you break the paint "seal", drive a sturdy screwdriver between the brake housing and the differential housing and try to lever it off.
If you succeed in breaking the brake housing away from the differential housing - and the assembly still refuses to come off - the drum might be rusted to the splined brake shaft. But let's not cross that bridge unless/until we get to it. The important thing is to get the housing off. At that point you may find that the shoes are actually still serviceable, and that all that's required is a good cleaning - and perhaps a new spring or bolt. At a minimum, you'll need new housing gaskets.

Thanks for the info on the brake housing. On the out side of the housing is a large nut I took off and brake rock arm. Is the housing supposed to slip off over the two shafts or do they come with it ? Thanks ....

Two shafts? If you mean the splined brake shaft that's coming out of the differential housing, there's only one shaft (per brake housing). To the best of my recollection, unbolting the brake housing from the differential housing and disconnecting the external linkage (pull rod) should be the end of it. Pull the housing toward you, and the whole thing should come off the splined shaft.
And that "big nut", you should put that back on for now. It holds the brake cam in place. The brake cam is the device that pushes the shoes against the drum when you step on the brake pedal(s).

If it is anything like an older Jinma, the shoes are inside the brake drum. They have to be "persuaded" to come off, but they come off WITH the cover. The big nut you mentioned does just as he explained it. Probably, given my experience, you probably just need to reset the lever arm to a more rear location and try it again to make them work. I found that the rod didn't have enough threads to adjust them to work, otherwise. The are "S" cam brakes and the lever arm moves that S shaped device to spread the shoes inside the drum.
