After removing the fuel bowl to change the filter and clean the bowl of my John Deere 650, after reconnecting the line from the tank the bowl did not fill. Help

Filter element right side up? Fuel cutoff on? Tank full? Bled properly?

If you've been cranking with an unbled fuel bowl, air could be in the lines downstream of the bowl, and bleeding at the pump and/or injectors (I'm not familiar with Deeres) is trickier. If you haven't been cranking, bleeding just the bowl should suffice. ....

My old JD had the square fuel separator, the drain petcock was quite evident. But you're saying "bowl", which leads me to believe you've got a standard sediment bowl instead. Regardless, what you describe is simple air lock. If you can find a bleed screw (or bolt) on the fuel filter, open that AND the sediment bowl petcock. If no bleed screw, loosen the glass "jar" part of the sediment bowl assembly slightly. Retighten when full.
