If you have a couple extra male tips for the hoses I'd swap them out. Baring something on the plow it'self catching it sounds like you have a tip with a weak or broken spring in a male tip. They lock up when that happens.

MICK;
Yes, it can also be the female half, on the tractor, but in my experience the male tip us normaly the culprit.

Sometimes low-cost quick-connects don't seat square so try disconnecting and carefully reconnecting. Otherwise I don't know your system but you might check for a sticking valve. ....

Mick, it's either as mentioned, a bad quick-disconnect fitting, or a bad seal in the remote itself.
If you turn of the machine and with it off, cycle all the controls for the remote then unplug them all I believe you will find one fitting that you can move the ball or plug with just a light touch of your finger or screw driver or something.
If that doesn't work then just reverse all the connections you can till the problem changes.
Best of luck. ....
