I,m thinking of a backhoe for my 4700 JD with acozy cab my question is the mounting brackets do they stay on the tractor permently or can i still use my 3-piont attacthments??? Or do I have to take them off to use it??And if I do how much time are we talking to take the brackets off??? thanks.

Your link won't come up for me, so I'm a bit in tne dark on your question.
If you are using a Deere hoe on the 4700 then yes the backhoe subframe brackets stay on the tractor and don't interfere with the three point arms. It takes a while to add or remove a subframe but that doesn't need to be done to go from the backhoe to other attachments.
If you are using another brand of hoe then I don't know how they work so far as the brackets.
The only problem I forsee may be the cozy cab. There may not be enough room for the backhoe seat and control station because of the rear of the cab being in the way
The latest Deere compacts with a factory cab do advertise they can be used with a backhoe attached. I don't know if the backhoe brackets extend farther back for clearance or if the cab has changed, all I know is from their ads.

Thanks for the reply Mr Hardwood Thats what I wanted to know about the brackets. From what I read the 485 hoe is suppose to be tractors with cabs. Thanks Wayne ....
