HAVE A dk 65 WENT TO USE IT I HAVE NO FOWARD OR REVERSE.I CHeCKED ALL LINKAGES AND ALL SEeM OK. I DID NOTICE A SMALL AMOUNT OF FLUID UNDER REAR OF MACH. I CHECKED THE FLUID LEVEL AND IT IS FULL AND CLEAN.ANY IDEAS? THANKS!!!!!

Does the foward reverse linkage seem any easier to move? Almost sounds as if the shifter fork has come loose from the shift linkage or the fork or linkage has broken internally in the transmission.

Do you have the shop manual for this tractor? Might not be that difficult if there is an access plate or panel that allows access to the tranmission internals without splitting the tractor. ....

Johngall,

Noticed you have the same problem posted on two different tractors. If true, could someone have vandalized them? If not that have they had fuild and filters changed or could there be water in them. Just seems strange two tractors of different brands would have the same thing to happen at the same time unless it is due to either the action or lack of action by a human. kt ....

I'm a little late getting in on this and hopefully the tractor is now moving. This tractor is not a hydrostat. be sure you have a range (hi lo etc) properly engaged, one of the 4 gears selected then try the shuttle shift lever forward or reverse. I cant tell you how many times I have not had one or the other fully in gear. If the shuttle shift makes a definete feel of shifting gears, than it is most likely one of the others is not fully engaged....
