Is this going to be too small? I'm guessing I'm going to be a couple of inches wider than my blower if I bought this one; It's a local deal and used, and clearing the drifted in snow is taking quite a while with just the fel since I can't "push" at an angle...
I don't have the time to do my plow setup and am thinking of buying this blower if I won't regret it being just a bit skinnier - We live in 4wd country anyway, I just want to be able to do a couple of passes.

If it's a deal, and you have a little cash laying around, you can buy it now, and sell it next fall, likley at a small profit.
I wouldn't worry about the width, it will still be a long way better than the FEL is.....

We sold one that another dealer had put together with the big turfs, not the best as they hung out about six inches on each side. The owner had a fellow build a set of plates to bring the snow in from the outer six inches to the augers. In hard packed snow or wet snow it works a little harder to get the snow to move, that does put a lot of stress on the rest of it but for fresh fallen lake effect it works good. ....
