Anyone had any experience with the Superchips, Are they as great as advetised. Better Fuel Economy and Power.

I don't know about a Chebby gas-burner, but a buddy of mine swears by his.

On my Ford diesels, it was a dramatic difference, but that is mostly because it was a de-tuned big truck engine to start with, I just put it back to how it was originally designed to perform.

In my case I went with a 4" mandrel-bent stainless exhaust from the turbo back, and modified air intake system also.

All told I went from 245 ponies at the crank to about 350 at the rear wheels.

I also gained about 10% better fuel mileage doing so.

It's hard to say where the added horsepower might become determental to fuel economy but I've found it hard to replace cubic inches and horsepower for overall performance. ....
