Dennis--
More advertising is good (pays the bills) but could you orient it vertically along the right side rather than having two columns? I can no longer see the "New Posts", "Hot Subjects" and "Featured Suppliers" without side shifting.
Just a suggestion: Put the site features on top then the advertising below for easier access and viewing.
Still my favorite website though! Where do you find the time?

If Dennis changed the format size of the Posts and Subject charts by making them slightly smaller and reduce the text size everything would fit without scrolling. Not complaining but only offering a suggestion. ....

I think more than that's necessary.
At 1600x1200, a full 35% of my TractorPoint forum screen is completely wasted. From left to right it's
a. 40% forum
b. 10% empty (blank/white/wasted space)
c. 25% advertising
d. 25% empty (more blank/white/wasted space)
and the 25% advertising is infringing/overlapping on the two dropdown forum select boxes
Reducing the resolution hides some of the blank/white/wasted space, but does nothing for the infringement/overlap problem

I thought it was just my computer acting up when I noticed tractorpoint no longer fits. I'm at 1024x768 and I have to scrrrrrrrroll to the left&right to see everything on the screen. It's been driving me nuts!
I'd like to suggest maybe consolidating the two advertising columns on the right into one to help with the scrolling/pagewidth issue.
I'd rather not see the text going to a smaller font. With so much text to read, it'll be hard for some of us if the text is made tinier.
Or maybe this is more an issue with the message board settings? Is the width of the column the board itself uses a fixed # pixels or %? Can you set it to make the message board text fill up the width not already in use by the ad columns (but never exceeding site visitor's res)? ....
