JD 430 vs NH 7308 loaders

The NH dealer told me that the lifting capacity of the NH 7308 loader was 3-400 lbs greater than the JD 430 loader and that the 430 was pretty weak overall. He said that a demo he watched a 430 that could barely lift 600 lbs.

As I read the specs, though, the 430 has greater lift capacity (1261 vs. 875 lbs) and greater breakout (3299 vs. 2344). So, is their any truth in what the NH guy is saying?

Also, a newbie question, what exactly is breakout force?

sounds like a silly salesman tactic! ihave the 419 loader and i've lifted my 6 an a half foot disk and my box scraper togather, weighing around 1000 lbs and it has less cap then the 430. as a matter of fact mine say's max cap of 8 something and it easly lift the 2 componets togather,note though the rear end did get a little light. ....
