I have posted a couple new pics (#1 and #2) illustrating use of the converted box scraper as a gravel spreader on my new driveway.
I use the BX to load the box from the rear and the 4100 to pull it forward to deposit the gravel.

Mark wouldn't the company that delivered the gravel spread it for you? them dump trucks will spread a 8ft path really uniform, or did you just want to play with your toys? If so i understand they are lots of fun. by the way i like your green machine better than the orange, its easier on the eyes and look more beefier. also did you make the wheel weights for the deere? cant see them real well in pic. ....

I had to make a twelve foot wide driveway, so it seemed like I would have to spread a bunch of it anyway.... besides there are a lot of curves.
The green one does look beefier, strange that they weigh the same.
The wheel weights are homemade. If you ever ask the price for Deere weights make sure you are sitting down when they tell you. There are two 50# weight lifting plates in each rear wheel. ....

how did you mount them to wheel , are they easy to remove and reinstall.and ya I did look into deere's weights and that why I'm interested in what you did on yours.I'm sure it was much cheaper alternative. i also noticed a shovel in your loader, I've buried mine twice leaving in bucket. LOL. forgot i had it in there,learning the hard way I guess.Now i strap it to what ever tool i have on the back. ....

The plates are 13 inches or so across and fit snugly in the wheel recess. I was looking at the photos of your tractor and your wheels are much larger than mine.
Looks like the mounting holes for the wheel weights (the square ones) are more than 13 inches across.
If you find some big enough steel plates that won't flop around too much on your larger wheels, I will take some pics of the spindle and mounting hardware I fabricated and send them to you. ....

Just saw your pics guys. I now know that there IS someone else out there that actually uses there toys and maintains them besides me! So many times people comment to me that I just purchased another "new tractor" when I'm still using my twin oranges from 1987 commercially.
Nice conversion Mark. Your conversion reminds me of some of the implents / attachments that I have developed...cool stuff, Mark!
One of these days, I'll have my pics up as well. Until then...
Keep them babies shined!
