I am looking for a good used deck for my bx2200. A guy about 50 miles from me has a deck from a b7300. Does anyone know if it will fit? I hate to spend the $$ on a new one because I don't plan on using it much. I'd just like to find a decent used one. I see used Kubota decks in the local paper out here in CT all the time but none for a bx. I posted an ad in the classifieds here too with no luck. I guess they must cut good because I don't see any used ones out there in my area.

You'll need the deck for the BX tractors. They float on the tractor, the B series are taller and ride on their own wheels. Maybe a 3pt finish mower instead? ....

Any thing can be done but this one is a GOOD project. You would be replacing a suspended deck with a ground engaging deck that would be tough for easy removal and installation if at all possible. I'd look real deep before attacking this project! ....

I don't need anymore projects that's for sure! I have a large hydro walk behind with a velke I cut with but I figure I have this nice Kubota why not get a deck. I know I won't use it much therefore I'm not ready to drop 1600 for a new one. I thought I'd find one by now (looking for 6 months) no luck yet. Spring is coming , hopefully I'll find one within a hundred or 2 miles..Jim ....

You might get lucky and find a BX deck, but I'm sure used ones are few and far between. My vote is for a rear finish mower. They're not as manuverable as a MMM, but they go on and off arguably easier and used ones will be much more plentiful.

BTW, I don't mean for my above comments to degress into a MMM vs. RFM argument. The only real point is that a RFM will be easier to find on the used market. ....
