I'm learning self-maintenance of my 4100 and am hoping someone can help. When lubricating the grease zerks (?), such as the tie rods and turn brake pedals, I stop applying grease when it starts oozing out of the ends or joints. But when greasing the front axle pivot pin, no grease seems to ooze out anywhere even after five pumps of grease. I can't see anyplace where grease should ooze out and am concerned about putting too much in. Thanks in advance for your help. JonB

Jon, Do you wonder where all that grease goes?? My JD 870 does the exact same thing. I just treat it like the other fittings and put two to three pumps or so. I think you will be alright with this. Regards-- mike t. ....
