have to wait at leat a week for tractor to come in from georgia.
What in the hell does Boomer mean, the cruved front end loader?
Dealer said bugs worked out after 7 years. What should I expect and get ready for?

I've never heard a solid reason for the name boomer. The best guess is that baby boomers are buying 'em :)

One thing to watch for is corrosion around the battery area. The battery is mounted in front of the radiator and if there is outgassing the fan draws the gases through the radiator. Keep that area flushed clean. My JD 4310 has the same issue, but the dealer gave me a vent cap that vents through a 2 foot tube extending out the bottom of the tractor. A simple fix. ....

Yes, it's a sealed one piece cap that vents through a tube. My JD dealer supplied it, not sure if NH has something similar. The best solution IMHO is a sealed AGM (optima type) battery, but I have found none that will fit on my machine. Not sure about the NH battery sizes. ....

Your price with the loader sounds great!! Was that a cash price? The best cash price I have found the the Kansas City area is 18,500. If I use their 0% 48 month program, they want to add 300 bucks to the price. Hope it's a great tractor, I should have mine by the end of this week. ....

Yes, that was cash, no credit card allowed. Included fluid in rear tires and a front grill protector. Tires were ind. type. I had to go back twice.

I'm glad to hear you didn't get SuperSteer. I ordered it on mine and now the price I am getting sounds even better. I questioned the SuperSteer option and was assured it has been out for quite a while and is reliable. I ordered it because I do a lot of turning while mowing. The Dealer called me and they are supposed to deliver mine Thursday. I plan on asking about all the service. I hope I can do most of it. Keep in touch. ....

I just received my brand new TC 33DA this week and it does NOT have the battery vent or the radiator screen. The manual says the 33 does not NEED the screen because the radiator is "Flow Through". I have used the 33 for about 2.5 hours and really like the SuperSteer. The whole thing is a huge step up from my Ford 3000. ....

Jeff, got my new TC33 and really like it. It did NOT come with a battery vent. I did get a good manual with it. The manual details all the service needed at 50 hours and beyond. Driving this tractor is soooooo much better than my old Ford 3000. So far the only complaint is some pretty strong smell of diesel fumes from the exhaust when I am moving certain directions. I don't think there is much I can do about that. ....

Calc, I got my TC33 a week ago. It's a HST without Supersteer. Have you had any problems getting the rear PTO enabled. For mine sometimes it's tough getting it engaged. I try to roll forward a little bit and then it drops in. I wouldn't call it a problem just a nuance and was wondering if any other 33 owners experience the same thing.

Frank,
You shouldn't have to move the tractor to engage the rear PTO but you might have to slowly let the clutch out just partially while holding slight pressure on the PTO lever to get the gears aligned and then she'll slide right in. My.02 worth.

Sounds Like you got about deal compared to here in MI. I 'shopped ' around a wee bit price of Kubota, JD, etc. Dealership attitude etc. made the clinch. I just got my "new" 2003 TC33Dw/loader 2 weeks ago . Yup last yrs model got a good deal $17000 plus their 0% finace couldn't pass it up -even took my old Cub Cadet 7274 in trade so even better deal. As to the string of posts -My Cub had a screen in frt of radiator and the manual for my TC shows one but dealer said(checked with another in the shopping) they found a big problem by owners who didn't do the maintance as properly as they should have, so just dropped the item to save repairs.. Also, the battery vent issue, I think it's a dealers option of what batteries they use 2delaers and each had a different brand. ....

Will be jumping in for a TC33DA soon too. Have 3 quotes with pretty similar equip.
$21,400 TC33DA, 14LA loader, block heater, Turf w/RimGuard, 60" MMM ($300 less for RM Rear dischg Woods)
or
$21,340 for same with LandPride 60" 3ph Air tunnel side disc
or
$22,270 same with 60" LandPride w/side dischg
Trouble deciding on LandPride mowers. They all look like heck with rust all over new bodies. Think I have any more wiggle room?

$14,700, tc33 da at corriher, add a $3300 loader (just a guess) and a $1800 mower (should get a pretty one for that kinda a money) that comes to $19,800. Add extra for your tires (turfs) and your in the ball park of what you got for price. You may be a touch higher but read ALL the posts about YOUR dealers. I would not buy unless my dealer was within a reasonable drive from my house. Sounds to me like your in the ballgame jubilee!!
Good luck
(ONEACE)
Our price is looking better and better every day!!!
Better buy one before you quit that place, (you do get the discount that employees get dont you?) ....

wolftownjeff-
you say the screen from a 24 fits the 33? Is there a part number or an idea of cost? I just want to be armed with some info when I stop at the dealer to get one of those 'radiator savers'. My 33 has a space for it but nothing, evenowners manual shows it. Dealer said factory wasn't adding them as 'most people didn't follow thru on maintance and these screens where a big culprit' for repairs.
Thanks Woodie ....

woody, the cost is about $60 for the screen. N.H. says it is not needed due to flow through design. Mine clogged fast without it and I dont know if it will have enough air flow if I do use it. There is other disscussion about this somewhere on this forum. My manual states it is not needed.
Again my rad. was clogged after 1 or 2 hours of bush hogging a field. Let me know what you do. jeff ....

I bought a new TC33D 5 months ago with 7308 loader, super steer, Ag tires, deluxe 3 PT. hitch, tilt/telescope wheel, swivle seat and 2 remote hydraulic connections. $18,500 delivered.
I have about 130 hours on it so far and the only problems I have had are those wires coming lose under the rear axle. I did put a jumper on the seat switch so the engine does not shut off if I stand up while running. ....
