Anyone have experience with a PTO Cement Mixer?
Have a Kubota 3410 but it doesn't have the rear hydraulic hose plumbed in yet.
Looking for type, size and price recommendations.

A rear hydraulic circuit is needed for the mixer dump I guess. An alternative to a rear circuit is to have an implement made up with hoses long enough to reach the loader curl outlets. I have in-line control valves and quick-connect fittings, so swapping between loader curl and a 3ph implement isn't too difficult.
I wouldn't be without a rear circuit, but I need two circuits when I mount my 3ph forklift, and stealing the loader curl circuit is my solution. Of course, I rarely need the loader when I'm using the forks. The loader's main use those times is to hold ballast weight.

I saw one once. I'm not sure where it came from but, it attached to the 3ph and had a drive shaft driving the drum. The dump was by hand. There was no hydraulics used on this setup. It could have been a homemade rig. As I remember, the gearbox looked a lot like one from a brush cutter. Interesting idea. Thanks for posting this. I have an old mixer that the motor is gone on, and brush cutter that I may try and convert to this use. It would sure be easier to move around. ....

Here is the one I know of, it uses a single outlet hydraulic valve. If you have a really small tractor it may not lift it high enough to dump the load, Northern Tool sells it through their catalog, but the shipping is pretty expensive. There is one more on the market, but I just can’t remember where I found it. It was a bit larger and more expensive. This one requires 25 pto hp. ....

Thanks for posting this Mark. That's like the model I saw except for the hydraulic dump. It looks like it would be a handy attachment for someone to own. It'd be great for setting fence post and such. ....

I have looked around and asked before on CTB.
It was recommended to get the plastic drum. This was sold by Farm and Country chain which no longer is in business. I can find no info on the plastic bucket PTO mixer, it may no longer be made.
The Worksaver was the unit sold by Northern Tool. There is another 2 units from NA that I found on line with one gear and one chain. Both with steel buckets.
There are a couple of units made in Europe that are also sold here. The Teagle mixer from the UK looks interesting as it avoids the need for a hydraulic dump and gives a higher unload height. It is sold here but the price is higher.
I have not spent the money yet. ....
