Is this a good deal?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Kubota-L3830-Tractor-FEL-Tiller-Sweeper-Brush-Hog_W0QQitemZ7588420103QQcategoryZ91953QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

If the link doesn't work just go to ebay.com and search for Kubota L3830.

It's the one in Greensburg, Pa.

It looks like it's in good shape and has lot of implements that come with it.

What do you think?

I think I'd never, no way, ever, ever buy a tractor off of eBay unless it was nearby and I could go inspect and test drive it. Also, get the serial number and run it by a Kubota dealer to see if it was reported stolen. ....

Over the next 6 days I would expect the bidding to get near $25K. Any other guesses out there?

It looks like he has a Kubota dealer connection. The paint is not even off the tines on the rototiller.
I am sure he will not let it go below cost. The last hours of the auction will tell the story. My guess is greater than 27K. ....

I would never buy anything like that on ebay unless I personally checked it out, including running the numbers with the police and driving/flying there to inspect it.

I also would pay it off only when I went to pick it up.

If I had to I fly there to meet the trucker and help them pack it up.

It'll be interesting to see what this sells for.

It's a NO RESERVE auction!

Paint on the tiller tines? Reminds me of the story Murf told a few weeks back where a guy disconnected the hour meter and ran the heck out of equipment on a golf course, then repainted it and tried selling it as near new. ....

I've found some good bargins on E-bay and had some good to great deals and it is always good to check out our seller a bit if you can. Nothing seems that it has really been used of the equipment other than the loader the most and some use with the bush hog. The black top drive and a broom is an awesome snow removal tool for that area! ....

So Art, what do you think all that stuff is worth, including the tractor itself?

Depending on how you can arrange shipping it is still an excellent value if you need what is there. ....

What about trading implements into a dealer for a say...backhoe?

Is trading implements a common thing to do?

How many of those, in your opinion, would in trade get you a good back hoe for that L3830?

Dealers all deal differently on trade-ins I know some that I here won't take them at all or barely, we will normally take like for like and only one of. I'd recommend selling what you don't want privately for a better deal on the backhoe. I'd worry on that tractor with the turf tires for loader backhoe work. You might want to switch tires out which would be another problem for you after the purchase. ....

Looks like this ebay tractor and equipment went for $23600. If it's legit it sounds like a good deal.
