I've had a 7194 for about 18 months now. Never had a problem with it. It has a loader and a 60" mower deck and they've both worked flawlessly. I am going to sell it though, it's to small for my needs now. I'm thinking of jumping into the 30HP range.Just a note on the price your dealer quoted you. My local dealer has been running ads lately for the 7260 with loader for $14,995. Your price seems to be fair. ....

I own a 7260. Bought it in Jan 99. Currently at 32 hours. This is a very solid machine. I enjoy mine. Originally Ihad considered the 7200 but moved up in size because of the417 loader (1100 lb capacity, almost double the 7200 model).Your pricing sounds good. I paid $17,900 for:7260 w/R4s417 loaderbelly mower w/aux lift kit6' medium duty rear bladerear work lightHope this helps. ....

I've owned a 7260 for about 6 months now. I bought it with a Koyker 150 loader, R4 tires (loaded with windshield washer fluid), and a 7' grader blade. I have about 80 hours on it now. It has been used to grade my 1/4 mile driveway, haul stones for a 100 foot long stone wall, has hauled logs for my winter's firewood, and plowed snow all winter. It has performed better than my expectations. The only problem I've had to date is a couple of loose lug nuts on my right rear wheel. It starts at 0 degrees with no problem. I've made one modification to the seat, drilling some new holes in the mounting plate to put it as far back as I could (I'm 6'2" tall). I looked at most all of the other tractors before I bought this one. I had narrowed my search down to either a Boomer or my Cub. The dealer and the price made the difference, in that order. I hope this is the kind of info you were looking for. ....

The cub tractor line has remained basically constant over thepast six or seven years (whenever Cub took it over from Case IH).I view this as a plus in terms of replacement parts and servicesupport. Also, you can be assured the basic tractor design hasbeen field tested for a good many years.Biggest changes I have noticed from one year to another (at least within the past two or three years I've been keeping track)seems to be slight changes to engines (increasing HP), and astandardizing on 4wd only. ....
