My wife's toy is a JD Gator. She uses it probably 2 or 3 afternoons a week and then Saturday. It could become so propular with your wife, you still need a trailer. LOL

To My wife the tractor is a work tool, but the Gator is more her for yard and running to neighbor's and such. Not much of a soft ground vechicle. Ground clearance is not as high as you might think either.

The JD brand was her idea, she wanted GREEN, I liked some others better for their roll bar, larger engine and suspension. Some of these were rated so they were classed as farm use and some as off road use. That was one advantage the Gator had in our state, it is legal on the road where the faster brands were considered only off road so running on our rural roads would have been illegal.

I think now three are three different sizes. The four wheel model with the ATV type tires doesn't leave any footprint on our lawn.

What's the difference between the "A" and the "non-A" versions of mower decks? Is it the deck itself or is it just bracketry?

I have the cab 4720 and truly love it. It is very quiet and the AC does an outstanding job of keeping you cool even when it's close to 100 out.

Dave, I didn't say he might not have caused it! Sorry, but things happen and if this is the worst then all is well. I didn't get to see where the chain was attached. It could be a freak we really don't know but a ten minute removal and a trip to the dealer could be an clean and easy out. Lack of knowledge of the proper operation of a piece of equipment is the most common cause for uncommon or unscheduled repairs.

Antiques and collectibles are another story. Babying one of those after doing an expensive, labor intensive and full restoration is entirely understandable. The guys I'm talking about would buy a brand new CUT with all the attachments and then freak out if anything got a scratch or speck of dirt on it.

It really makes a difference having good people, we have 2 TSC stores in town, the North store is fantastic but you would almost have to pay me to go to our South store. At least they are aware of it and working to get it straightened out.

Jesse Jackson and his son and Budweiser is a good example. hmmm $150,000 to shut her up or a loss in millions while I fight it. I understand that if the other party agrees to the settlement, that is all a part of the legal process. So is there a crime that has been comitted? I think not.<br>

Ollie North was accused of the Iran/Contra and yet no one here will ever know what really happened, it is all on a NEED TO KNOW BASIS and if someone has a Kryptonite Security Clearance and is sworn to the utmost secrecy due to National Security, I assure you what you think you know about what happened and what actually did happen are probably as similiar as Apples are to Bananas.

OK, my problem has returned. I did some trouble shooting and found I have pressure to the input of the valve (left side fitting going into trans) pulled top check valve cleaned still no 3 point. My question is what do I look for next? Do I pull top plate and check the inner valve? If so what do I look for?

Depending on what you want it for, you might have more use out of a pulverizer than a drag harrow.

They are really simple to make yourself and can be used for a bunch of stuff other than finishing off a seedbed.

Have a look at YooperPete's picture # 8 for the one he made. Basically all you need is a few feet of heavy I-beam, and some 5/8" square stock or 1/2" flat bar.

I'm looking for a mid mount finish mower for my TC24DA. It calls for a 914A mower deck, there's a 914 on ebay for sale. Does anyone know if this will work, or if not, what changes would need to be made?<br>

I have the 1172 on my 4710 and so far it has worked great. The one thing I wish it had was more angle adjustment when turned around backwards. I also wish the blade was a bit heavier for plowing snow. All in all, I think the 1172 is a very handy blade. I would recommend getting a hydraulic top cylinder for your tractor, it sure makes a nice addition.

IF you plan on keeping the truck I would recomend the BORLA stainless single 3 inch cat back with the LIFE TIME 1 million mile warranty, it would pay for itself in replacement costs and flows just as well as a "dual" and better "torque" numbers where a truck really needs it any way top it off with a K&N air charger system. You may not get better gas milage but bigger numbers for the same fuel consumption.

I've got one of those chattering injectors on my Mercedes, but it quiets down once the engine warms up - it's just a cold engine issue.

Not to say your problem isn't injector related, but what color exhaust do you get when it knocks pulling uphill?
