I agree - these places cost money. This was actually my original idea, since my sole motivation is to end up with the book for my own edification. Later I went out and fiddled with it a lot. If I jiggle gently, sometimes it'll slide right up. No amount of force I can apply with both hands will make it move otherwise. When in the "locked" position a little change is seen - up/down loader operation is slowed but not disabled. Dumping/rollback does seem to be locked, as I can't move the DSCV right/left.
Has anyone else run into this?
