Im looking for a Deere tractor but im not sure what to get. I will be using it for the front loader, mowing, and snow blowing. I was looking at the 1 series but was afraid that it would be to small. But then i looked at the 2000 series and thought it was to big. please if you have an idea please help.

What size is your property? How much weight do you want to be able to lift in the loader bucket? Is your property hilly or flat? What width mower deck would you like? Do you want mid mount or rear mount mower? Give us a little more details and we'll give you plenty of opinions. ....

Oh man, you're seriously in the wrong ballpark. I have a 3720 on 30 hillside acres that is only half pasture - and I wish I had MORE tractor. I wanted one in the 4x20 series, but the cab was too tall to fit in the shed or through the barn doors. The 3720 was second choice, and performs like it.

The issue is not exactly how many acres you'll be putting into what but what and how much you plan to use the machine for. ....

If one is going to maintain 35 acres of pasture it sure as hell is !! And I tried pasture management with a MMM once, a 60" under a 24hp Yanmar. It sucked. That a job for a rotary cutter or a flail.

Mid mount mowers are good for lawn or very smooth pasture, but unless you keep it cut short, mid mower won't perform well in very tall grass/weeds. If you plan on mowing rougher ground, a rear mount rotary cutter should be planned on. How much of the property will you plan to mow, and how often? ....

Mid mount mowers are expensive to buy new plua they are a pain to mount and dismount unless you buy the new drive over mount series. I maintain using a rear mount mower for the rougher stuff then buy a used rider for the fine finish mowing is a better answer. A good quality rider can be had for less than the mid mount is going to coast.
So far as size is concerned it all depends on what you plan to use the tractor for. I have a hard time thinking of a reason I would need bigger to maintain 50 acres. Most of my 50 acres is in row crops by a tenant. I clean up the waterways, terraces, and road ditches. The modern loaders on the "smaller" tractors with a front wheel assist will amaze you with their abiltys.
